I dropped my bag beside the bed. I sat on the bed, which creaked loudly.

"Okay, that’ll take some getting used to," I said out loud to the room.

A picture of the lady who had checked me in flashed through my mind. Her face was gorgeous. I thought of how I had wanted to reach out to her booty and cup her ass in my hands as she climbed up the stairs.

And those lips! She has a nice cock-hardening pout.

I shook my head. There was no way I was going to get it on with her.

You're here to work, not sleep around. Get your priorities straight.

I fell back on the bed from my sitting position, and it creaked once again. The mattress was firm, almost as if it had been made from plastic. I was unsure how I would fall asleep on it.

I sighed deeply.

I’ve never had a blank wall for games before.

Eric had suggested I stay for a long spell.

Yup, I’ll kill him for this.

But then again, I sent my mama on vacation for six weeks. It's a nice length of time for a real change of pace.

Eric handled company matters every day of the week, anyway.

I pulled out my phone.

Thank goodness I still had enough bars to make a call.

I dialed Eric first.

"Yo, how was your trip?" he asked cheerfully.

"You sent me to a village!" I almost yelled at him, and he immediately started laughing. I felt tricked.

"Why would you say that?"

"First, the place is very 1970s. It’s a god-forsaken isolatedvillage. And get this, they don't even have internet connectivity. If those aren't signs of me being out of civilization, I don't know what is," I lamented.

"You need to calm down. Don't be the snobbish rich city boy. I never said I was sending you to a five-star Caribbean full-service resort." Eric said through laughter. "First, you need to find your mojo, and when you do we can sort out your internet connection. It's not that hard to send someone to install the internet for you over there. Just find your mojo first," Eric repeated.

I sighed loud enough for him to hear. I knew he had a point, but this was stressful. We spoke for a while before I finally hung up. I stared at the ceiling of the room, and I couldn't help but think about my own room.

I had no idea when I fell asleep, but it was the sound of someone knocking at my door that roused me. For a few seconds, I forgot where I was. I looked around the room with groggy eyes. Someone kept rapping on the door.

"Who's there?" I asked, my voice still recovering from sleep.

"I was asked to bring your dinner," a young voice said. I opened the door to find a young boy with a tray in his hands.

"Good evening, this is for you." He said with a smile, stretching the tray to me.

I was confused because I had forgotten that she was going to serve me dinner “as a courtesy welcome” tonight. Aside from breakfast, I had not eaten anything all day. I was hungry.

"Thank you," I said, collecting the tray from the boy. He sped off immediately. I closed the door and walked over to the chair in the room.

The contents of the plate on the tray were spaghetti and five giant meatballs. It smelled delicious enough and I felt my mouth water. I took a first bite and a second, and before I knew it, I had finished the meal. The tray had a bottle of water, which I drank down.

After the meal, I was still so tired and sleepy, I stretched out on the bed. The bed creaked as I got on it, but I didn't mind the sound. I fell asleep again almost immediately.
