She moaned out his name as she did as he instructed. He returned the favor, calling out her name as he reached his own climax, coating his hand and stomach with his load.

“I love hearing you come,” she giggled into the phone.

“Soon enough, you’ll be watching it too. Love you, Angel.”

“Love you, too, Wes.”

“I’ll be there in two days.”

“Okay. Can’t wait. Night.”

“Night.” He waited for her to end the call. Then he set his phone on the nightstand and got back up to go clean up the mess he’d made. When he was done, he headed back to bed to try to go to sleep, hating that he had to do it alone. He couldn’t fucking wait for her to be there with him.

Chapter twelve

Rebel

AfterfollowingRubytowork the next morning, he waited while she crossed the lot. She had paused briefly halfway across the lot to text someone, before she waved and continued inside. Knowing she was safe, Rebel headed home. He parked his bike in his usual spot outside the garage, since he allowed the twins to use the other spot in the garage and made his way to the front door. When winter hit, he’d have to pull his truck out and put his bike in the garage for storage. Deciding he needed to start checking over his truck to prepare it for winter, he pulled open his front door.

When he stepped inside, he was confronted with the sight of the twins standing in front of the island with their arms crossed over their chests. On either side of them was Pike and Ranger, both of them grinning like the idiots they were.

Ross glanced over at the clock on the wall before he glared at Rebel. “And where haveyoubeen all night?”

Rebel sighed and shut the door behind him.

“You couldn’t call to tell us you wouldn’t be home?” Ryker was trying to glare, but he wasn’t quite achieving the effect he was going for.

Ignoring them, Rebel removed his cut and hung it on the hook by the door.

“Cousin, I think it’s time for us to have a talk.” The demanding tone of Ross’s voice made Rebel roll his eyes as he walked across the room and stopped in front of Ross. “When a man and a woman love each other…”

That was all Ross got out before Rebel swung out and cuffed him upside his head with his shifted paw. Ignoring his now whining cousin, he glanced from Pike to Ranger. “What do you two want?”

“Axle told us to be here to pick up the twins, in case you weren’t home from your girlfriend’s house in time,” Ranger said with a grin.

Rebel shot Ranger the finger and stepped around them, headed for his room. “Bring them to the clubhouse. I’ll be there by ten.”

As he opened his bedroom door, he heard Ranger shout, “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate.”

Rebel just entered his bedroom and shut the door behind him, not giving Ranger the attention he so obviously wanted.

Freshly showered, Rebel parked his bike in the lot to the clubhouse and made his way up to the room on the second floor that they used for church, what they called their meetings. When he opened the door and stepped inside the room, he saw that all of his brothers were already there and waiting on him.

Taking a deep breath and preparing him for the shit he was no doubt about to receive, Rebel moved over to his usual chair and sat down, between Rock and Rex. He glared at Ranger who was sitting across the table from him with a fucking shit-eating grin on his face.

Axle slammed a fist down on the table to call church in order. “Okay. First… Rebel.”

Rebel looked down the table at his president. “Me? Yeah?”

The smirk on Axle’s face didn’t give Rebel the warm fuzzies. “Anything you want to tell us?”

“Nope.” Rebel shot his president a glare.

Unbothered, Axle pushed, “Are you sure?”

“We want to know about the librarian,” Pike commented.

“Yeah, Romeo,” Trip confirmed. “Tell us about your librarian.”
