“Can you find out where they are?” I ask as my phone rings, and he shakes his head.

“Not yet, but I’ll keep looking.”

I nod, heading outside to answer the call.

“Hey.”

“Hey, I’m still working on narrowing down the location for, well, anyone’s location,” Anson says, and I hear Rhett yell something to him in the background.

“I’ve got one of their phone numbers figured out!” Rhett calls.

“We’ll narrow it down soon,” Anson promises, and I thank him before we hang up, and I head back inside.

We order more coffee, and Wells and Rhodes run down the street to grab everyone some lunch. Anise’s shift is over soon, and I was hoping to have some news to share with her when I picked her up, but that probably won’t happen now.

I check my phone to see if she’s texted or tried to call, but there’s nothing.

“Got it!” Graham says right as Hunter’s phone starts to ring.

“It’s Grier,” he says, and I take his spot so that I can see Graham’s computer screen better.

“I’m triangulating their location right now,” Graham says, and I frown as I see they’re not in Nevada.

“They’re here,” Hunter says as Graham’s computer software finally finishes and shows the phone right here in Fallen Peak.

“Whit, they took her,” Hunter says, and my stomach drops.

“What?” I ask, and it feels like I’m going through a tunnel.

“That was Grier. Anise is gone,” he says, and I blink, trying to clear the white noise from my ears.

My phone rings, and I see that it’s Rhett.

“They’re in Fallen Peak,” he says as soon as I answer and I clear my throat.

“I know. They took her.”

“We can be on the next flight out,” he says, and I nod.

“I’ll let you know.”

“I can track one of their cellphones. I’ll send you the last coordinates.”

“Thanks.”

We hang up, and I stand.

“We need to get my girl back,” I tell my friends, and they nod.

“I’ve got the license plate of the van from street cameras,” Graham says.

“Rhett and Anson found their cell and tracked it. I have the last known location. We can track them down using that.”

“What’s the plan?” Hunter asks.

“Find out where they took her. I can handle the rest,” I say, and I know that Hunter can see the murderous thoughts in my eyes.
