“Easy.” He didn’t like the fear in her tone. “You know I’d never let anything happen to you.”
Her hands clutched his shoulders. “It’s just so … it’s never been this intense before.”
Damn, he loved hearing that. “I want you to stop worrying and come for your Dom.”
He could tell she was trying to fight it. That wasn’t going to happen. He had a couple of different options on how to throw her over. He could go for her clit or asshole. Nick decided on the latter. He knew it was early in their relationship, but he needed her to get used to his touches on and in her anus because it was one of his favorite places to be.
He could tell she was aware of him as he’d moved her a bit, reached under her, swiped up a copious amount of her cum, and started pressing on her asshole. It took a moment for her to realize what was happening. He loved the fiery shock on her face.
“Nick…”
“Shhh. You’re going to love this. Now, you’ll come for me.”
He braced her into position and speared his finger into her as far as it would go. She went off like a rocket. Her scream filled the room, and her body clenched down on his cock and finger so he couldn’t move them easily. When she started to come down and release her grip, he started ramming into her until he felt his own orgasm take him.
After the storm passed, they both lay silently with his head on her shoulder and his arms bracing his weight off of her. What shocked him was how shaky he was. He’d never had sex affect him this deeply, and he didn’t know how to feel about it. He thrived on his ability to stay in control at all times, and it wasn’t working here. When he was able to lift his head, he glanced down at her and found her very close to sleeping.
“I’ll be right back.”
Nick pushed himself off of her and went into the bathroom. After he washed himself, he brought a washcloth back to clean her.
He grinned when she growled and tried to smack his arm. After disposing of the washcloth, he turned off all the lights, slid into bed, adjusted her how he wanted, and sighed. His nose pressed against the back of her head as he listened to her breathing deepen.
“Jesus, woman. You’ve knocked me off my feet,” he whispered to her, so he didn’t wake her up. “And I’m not entirely sure I like it.”
During the night, whenever she tried to move away from him, he was instantly awake and slid her back, tightened his grip on her, and ensured she stayed against him.
Nick was up at four-thirty the next morning. No matter when he went to sleep, his body didn’t let him sleep past that time. He was tired but energized at once. After pulling on some clothes, he went to the kitchen and made some coffee before he met the guys.
He relaxed as the guys ran. Just listening to them helped with the tension he hadn’t been able to dispel. After the five-mile run, he drove behind them to Caden’s, and they worked out in the gym in his basement like usual. He pushed himself more than normal to wipe out the rest of the tension, and the guys picked up on it. He wiped his face with a towel and guzzled a bottle of water before he noticed his friends sitting around watching him.
“Hey,” he said as he sat down on the bench.
“What’s up, Nick?” Jake asked.
Fuck, he wasn’t entirely sure he was ready to talk about it, and frankly, he didn’t even know how to express the way he felt.
“Spill it,” Macy said.
He sat forward with his elbows on his knees. “Last night was our first time, and I wasn’t ready for how it made me feel and how hard it would be to hold back. Jesus, I’ve never felt anything like that in my life.”
“And it scared you?” Link asked.
“Fuck, yeah. I hate feeling weak.”
“Man, none of us have been in love, but we’ve heard about it,” Caden said. “I know a few guys that you would swear ate nails and didn’t have a soft bone in their body, but when they were with their woman that they fell in love with, they … I don’t know how to say it, besides that they smiled and looked happy. It was something I never thought I’d see with Murdoch. You guys remember Commander Murdoch?”
They all nodded. He was a guy who’d be hard to forget. The man was bigger than them and didn’t know how to have a conversation without yelling at his men. Nick had seen new recruits piss themselves when they had to deal with him the first time.
“I happened to be in his office when his woman walked in. He’d been yelling like normal, but his whole persona changed. He fucking smiled,” Cade said.
Nick couldn’t believe it. “No way.”
“You’re fucking with us,” Link said.
Caden grinned and shook his head. “I’m not. She walked over to him and went on her tippy-toes, and he had to bend forward to kiss her. She was tiny. You could tell the size difference more when they stood beside each other.
“His woman, Lacey, turned to the four men in the commander’s office and smiled. She had the prettiest blue eyes and little dimples.” He grinned. “We must have been staring at her because Murdoch barked at us to keep our eyes up. We all immediately looked up at the ceiling. We heard her say something, and Murdoch answered in a soft tone. I could see him hug her, and then she walked out of the room. He stared at the door forever. One of the guys finally cleared his throat to get his attention. His brows came down when he looked at them, and he started yelling again. I actually saw him as human for a few minutes. So, women might change your emotions, but they’ll never take away your personality.”
