He shook his head, bent, and pressed his lips to hers. “Later. We’ll talk about what’s going on now. I need to hear what happened to you.”

She nodded and turned to face Fury again. Titan’s arm came around her waist, making her feel secure. She set her hands on his arm and leaned back against him.

“Talk,” Fury demanded of her.

Jada swallowed. “Oh, okay, so I ran to the store when we saw the truck pass. The truck driver was opening the doors to his van. It wasn’t until I was a few feet from the store that I noticed no one was there yet.”

“Why didn’t you come right back immediately?” Traeger asked.

“I was closer to the knife I keep under the counter.”

Several men growled.

Dre lifted his hand. “She’s very good with a knife. Just ask the slut that pissed her off.”

Fury grinned and then nodded at her to go on.

“I opened the store, and immediately l went behind the counter where I kept the knife.”

“Tell them what the guy said to you before he went into the store?” Lindsey said.

“Oh, okay. Um, I told him the guys were coming. He talked about how you guys didn’t leave us unattended, and then he said, ‘until now.’ It was also the way he said it. It sent chills down my spine.” She cleared her throat. “When I was behind the counter, he took several steps toward me. I told him to get outside because the guys didn’t like anyone but the club to be there. In a tone of voice I’ll hear in my nightmares, he said you guys were slacking, and it’s not nice or smart, and you never know what could happen. He stepped out of the store seconds before the guys came.”

“That’s when we walked in, and I could tell something happened,” Traeger said. “Why didn’t you say anything then?”

“Because I knew what would happen, and I thought maybe I was just being sensitive. I was emotional about this morning with what happened with Titan. I didn’t want to be the reason a person died.”

No one said anything for a moment.

Jada looked at the girls. “The girls and I were talking, and we thought if the guy was really that evil, maybe he’s hurt someone before. Bear got a picture of a man they say has raped a hundred women across the country and eighteen in our area. The second we saw the picture, we knew it was him. He raped a thirteen-year-old in our county.”

“Let me see it,” Trager said.

Lina handed it to him.

“Fucking bastard,” Traeger said and passed the paper around the room.

Everyone agreed it was the driver of the truck. The room was filled with violent bikers. She knew they were but didn’t see this side of them often.

“I want all the information on him immediately,” Fury said. “I want his address. We’ll put some guys on him 24/7 to prevent him from getting away until we decide what to do. I’ll call our contact at the police department and see what he thinks. I want the women on lockdown until we get him.”

The girls looked around at each other. They all hated it but understood why Fury was doing it.

Chapter Eleven

Titan’s grip on Jada tightened. The fact that she was feet from a serial rapist made a level of rage build inside of him that he’d never experienced before.

“Men, we have some planning to do. Call whoever is available right now,” Fury said. “You girls need to leave. We’ll also have to decide what to do about you girls.”

“Decide what?” Tara asked.

“If you should be punished,” Fury said.

Titan grinned at the look on Fury’s face when every woman gasped and then started talking at the same time.

They stopped when Fury raised his hand and yelled. “Enough. We’ll deal with you girls later, now get out.”

Titan watched Fury pull Amelia down so he could talk in her ear. It was something that made her blush and made him smile. He gave her a hard kiss and then told her to leave.
