I’m going all in.

I cup her cheeks and rest my forehead against hers. “I love you too, Sunshine.”

Her breath catches, and we stay frozen until she brings her lips to mine and gently kisses me.

I kiss her in return, slow and tender.

Cherishing her the way she deserves.

When I lift us off the lounge, she wraps her legs around me, and it feels different from what we’ve shared before. I carry her through the house and to my bed, where I lay her down.

Before I undress her, I take off my clothes. Once we’re both naked, I lie on top of her, link her hands with mine, and raise them to the sides of her head. Our kiss starts gently. I don’t want to rush this. I want this to last.

Rubbing against her, I slowly nudge inside until I’m all the way in and make love to her gingerly. Never rushing, only showing her my love.

We never once break eye contact, our bodies showing what our words mean to each of us.

Eventually, we reach orgasm, and right when I release, I pull out and rub against her clit, furthering her release while shooting all over her stomach.

When we both calm down, I notice tears trailing down her cheeks and lick them away.

“I love you, Leo. I never want this to end. Never.”

“I love you too. I don’t intend for this to ever end.”

It’s been a long week, but it’s finally Thursday, and I’m heading to dad’s office to speak to him about Kylie. He’s sitting behind his large desk with Oliver, Amber’s father, on the other side.

When I enter, Oliver stands and greets me with a handshake. “Leo, how are you doing?”

“Great, Oliver. How are you?”

“Couldn’t be better. I hear you met someone while you’ve been away. Has a girl finally nailed you down?”

I drift my eyes to Dad.Why is he talking to Oliver about that?

My dad shrugs as if to say he didn’t mention anything to him.

Oliver must have seen my silent question to my dad because he says, “Oh, your dad didn’t tell me. Amber mentioned that she met her.”

“Yeah.” I keep my reply short. I don’t need to discuss my relationship with him. I need to talk to Dad about it.

Sensing that’s all he is going to get from me, he asks no more questions. “I’ll let you guys talk. See you both tomorrow.”

When he leaves the office, I take the seat he vacated.

“What can I do for you, son?” Dad asks.

“Dad, I get the feeling you don’t approve of my relationship with Kylie. You barely spoke to her last weekend at dinner, and it doesn’t feel like you are happy for me.”

He’s silent for a few moments.

“You need to understand I only want what’s best for you, but how well do you know her? You must be careful with these girls and their motives. You’re someone a girl will try to get her hooks into. You’re a handsome young bachelor with wealth you couldn’t spend in many lifetimes.”

Giving him a what-the-fuck glare, he raises his palms. “Now, I’m not saying she’s a gold digger, but you have to be careful.”

I can’t believe he just accused Kylie—myKylie—of such a thing. She’d never be someone like that. It’s not in her nature.
