“No, not a chance,” Zach splutters.

“Am I missing something here?” Willow glances between us.

“Zach’s afraid of dogs.”

“Mi, shut up. I am not!”

Throwing a piece of garlic bread at his head, Zach grabs it mid-air and stuffs it into his mouth with a mischievous wink. He is incorrigible.

“How can you not like dogs?” She laughs.

Zach mock-shudders, his grin fading. “They’re loud, annoying and in need of constant attention. You guys have me for all of that.”

I take another bite of food. “Finally, something we can agree on.”

Willow gets up to grab more beers, handing one to Zach but hesitating when it comes to me. I shake my head. Killian will only chew me out if he catches me drinking.

It’s been years since I last drank but he never forgave me for worrying Lola so badly when we were teenagers. I went off the rails for several months until she ordered Pops to intervene and sort me out.

“I can’t believe Killian is still working.”

She glances outside at the asshole himself after returning from the fridge. I can see her biting her lip as she spots him, shirtless and sweating. He’s been at it for hours out there, chopping what looks like a whole bloody forest down.

“What exactly is he building?” she wonders.

“Not a clue, he won’t tell us.”

“Whatever it is, it’s big,” Zach adds.

“Did you see the blueprints for the playground he was working on for the town centre?” Willow takes my empty plate from me. “That thing is huge.”

“Aalia sweet-talked him into it. That woman is dangerously persuasive.”

Curling up in her place next to Zach again, Willow’s curious gaze lands on me. There’s a twinkle in her eyes, gleaming with more confidence than I’ve ever seen from her. She beckons me closer with a single finger.

“Come here,” she whispers huskily.

I don’t need to be asked twice. Settling against the cushions, I snuggle my body close to her back. Zach flips over to face Willow instead of the movie, so she’s sandwiched between us both, pinned in place.

“Where’s Arianna?” I search around the room.

“She went to play in the town square with Johan.” Willow whimpers as Zach runs a hand down the generous curve of her body, settling on her hip.

“So, we’re all alone,” he croons.

“It would seem so.”

I watch as he brushes his knuckles against her cheek. Zach presses his lips to hers before sliding his fingers into her curly hair to deepen the kiss further. Just watching them make out in front of me is mesmerising.

It gets a whole lot more interesting when Willow shifts to rub her pert, rounded backside up against my crotch. She’s writhing between us both, seeking maximum friction. Each movement teases my hardening cock.

It’s enough to send me into a panic. I have no idea what to do. Being a twenty-four year old virgin who lives on a fucking mountain hasn’t afforded me much experience with women, especially not in the bedroom department.

“Killian’s outside,” she murmurs.

Zach strokes her hair from her face. “His loss. He can have you to himself later. You’re ours right now.”

“You mean we don’t, um… have to do this together? I don’t know how this whole, you know, sharing thing works.”
