“Oh my God. Everything looks beautiful. Doesn't it look amazing babe?” He nods his head already looking at me.

“Sure does.” Smiling, I stand on my tiptoes and give him my lips. He kisses me chastely, but it does nothing to quelch the desire I always feel for him. Before this day is over I wouldn’t be surprised if I am flat on my back within the hour.

“You don’t think we overdid it with the decorations?”

“Absolutely not. It is perfect.” Suddenly I am bombarded with people hugging me, congratulating me and shoving gifts into my hand. Luckily it seems Heather and Siddah have been given the instructions to take all gifts from me and place them in a designated place.

“Why don’t I get you something to eat, baby?” Nodding, I follow him into the kitchen and my eyes bug out.

“They hired a caterer?” I squeak out seeing all the people in white making plates and trays.

“Of course we did, girlie. This is our first grandbaby.” Cobi’s father comes up to my side of me and kisses my cheek. “You look beautiful, daughter.” As usual when he calls me that, which he started doing about two weeks ago, my heart fills up with so much warmth and belonging. I didn't realize how much I was missing a father figure until I met him.

“Thank you guys so much, Dad.” Cobi says, slapping his back. “We appreciate everything you have done.” He pulls his dad into a hug for a moment before stepping back and grabbing my hand. “Are you ready?” he asks, me touching my belly.

“Yeah, babe. We’re ready.”

The party is in full swing and surprisingly I am having a great time. Most of the people are of course his family, but other prominent families from school. Girls who have never spoken to me before are here, fake smiles splattered on their faces. I mean I assume it is fake, but Cobi hasn’t left my side and neither has Heather. “Do you need anything mama?” Heather has begun calling me that as a joke, but I sort of like it.

“Actually, I am really thirsty.”

“I got it. I will be right back.” She walks away leaving me sitting in the ‘chair of honor’ alone for a moment. I lean back a little tired, just enjoying the sound of laughter and music.

“So you think you’ve made it huh, slut.” Opening my eyes I see Leslie, the bitch who pushed me standing in my face.

“What are you doing here, Leslie? Surely you didn’t get an invitation.”

“I came as a plus one.” She sneers, staring her nose down at me.

“Then why don’t you minus yourself from in front of me and find a life.” I can literally see the steam coming out of her ears at that comment. I would stand up and face her, but this bitch is crazy and who the hell knows what she would do with my stomach wide open to her.

“If I had known you were pregnant, I would have pushed you harder, bitch.” Pissed I begin to stand up to hit this bitch in her face, but then I feel the hand of my fiancé on my shoulder, keeping me in place.

“What the fuck did you just say to my woman, Leslie?” She begins stuttering trying to backpedal.

“I was uhm… just telling her if I had known she was pregnant I wouldn’t have pushed her. I feel horrible about that.” Like hell she does.

“I see. So crashing our shower was to apologize?”

“Of course.” I look up at him to see if he is buying it, but his stance tells me he is not.

“Great. Apology heard but not accepted. Now, my advice would be to leave now before I have you arrested for assault. The only reason you are not already facing jail time is because Ripley wanted to forget it. But I forget nothing. By the way, how is the wig working out? I heard you had an unfortunate accident at the hair salon last month.” The realization dawns on her face and I see her put it together. “Now here you are in our home talking shit to her? Listen and heed me, Les-hoe. Find yourself a dick and choke on it and stop reaching for mine. I have never wanted your used trashcan and never will. Do we understand each other? She and my kid are off limits to you.” Her face pales and her body becomes rigid. I watch her stumble away from me like she has been slapped in the face. Once she is out of sight I release the breath I didn't know I was holding.

“Thank you, babe.” I touch his arm trying to relax him again. He stoops down, semi eye level with me, rubbing his thumb down my face.

“You never have to thank me for slaying your demons, Angel. It is what I was born for.” Why does he have to say such romantic stuff when I can’t climb him and ride it? “I know what you’re thinking, baby. You want me to slide under this dress and take a sip? Is it wet and ready for me?” A whimper slips past my throat and I nod my head. He grabs my hands and helps me stand up. The same tickle I always get right before he makes me his over and over begins to form in my pussy only to be damped down.

“Are you two ready for the reveal?” He looks at me, his face turned down with the same predatory gaze that makes my nipples bead, and my body calls for him. Smiling, I nod knowing we have no choice.

“Yep. Let’s do this.” I tell him. We walk hand in hand to the other side of the backyard, we grab our poppers and stand for the photos before addressing the people here to celebrate us. I squeeze his hand, so he knows to do the speech. I could never do it.

“Thank you everyone for coming and for the gifts that are currently falling over in the foyer.” Everyone laughs, including me. “I know most of you are still trying to wrap your head around the fact that we haven’t graduated yet and are already about to be parents and getting married. Trust me I know, it was a whirlwind, but one I sought and did anything to have. This beautiful angel beside me, is mine. I knew from the moment I met her that she was my destiny. This baby is just part of our love story, and I am excited to learn what we are having. Thank you for celebrating us, everyone. Now let's do this.” He wipes the tears from my eyes before leaning down to kiss me. “Remember I told you it was a boy.” The countdown begins.

“I don’t think so.” Five, four, three, two, one, pop!!” The dust hits the air, and everything is pink. I scream so fucking excited that is a girl. Everyone around us is clapping and shouting. I knew it. I freaking knew it. Realizing I have heard nothing from Cobi, I look up joy pouring out of me. “Babe, it’s a girl!” He looks at me with shock on his face and then he is at my feet passed out cold. Damn. Is this the preview for the day I go into labor? “Cobi, get up.” I can’t bend over but his parents rush over and shake him up. He pops up, face horrified that he just passed out and looks at me.

“A girl? Why would God do this to me?” Laughing, I wrap my arms around his waist once he is standing.

“Because you are going to be the best girl dad in the world. Are you really unhappy about it?” It would break my heart if he wasn’t really happy for this baby now. He looks at me, hands on my face.
