Page 6 of Omega Inked

If she gets snatched up by the ACB, she could end up with an abusive pack of worse.

"She's here now, and I can't take that back," I say. "We have to figure out a plan, and fast. We can't stay here long."

Mercer scoffs. "No shit. But where the hell are we supposed to go with an omega in tow?"

I chew on my lip. "The boathouse?"

Liam crosses his arms. "Shit, dude...that's fucking far. The docks are on the other side of town."

"But the water is the only thing that will stop anyone from scenting her," I say. "Andwe have a stash there. Once we get to the boathouse, she can take suppressants, get her claiming mark, and we can send her on her way."

Mercer glares at me again, his eyes flicking to the hotel room door. "What about the ACB? They're probably watching us right now."

I shake my head. "We'll have to take the back exit, go through the alley. Keep our heads down and stay together...and once we get to the van, we drive fast."

Liam nods, his expression determined. "We got this, man. Let's go."

We all turn and I take a deep breath so I can keep my composure once we're inside. I can practically feel her pheromones wafting through the door, making me even more desperate to get her out of there.

I turn the handle, stepping inside. Olivia is on the bed, her pink hair a wild halo around her face. She looks up at me with a mix of fear and desire, and my heart clenches.

"Come on," I say, reaching for her hand.

"Who are these people?" she asks, her voice trembling.

"They're friends," I reply, pulling her towards me. "We need to move. It's not safe for us here anymore."

Olivia nods, her eyes scanning over Liam and Mercer. "Okay," she says, standing up and smoothing out her dress. "I'm ready."

I can't help but notice her scent getting stronger, making me even more on edge. We need to move fast before anyone else picks up on it.

We make our way to the back exit, keeping low and trying to avoid any attention. As we step out into the alley, I can feel Olivia's hand shaking in mine.

"Stay close to me," I whisper, pulling her along.

We manage to make it to the van without any trouble, but as soon as I open the door, her scent nearly overwhelms me. I can feel my control slipping, my instincts urging me to claim her.

"Get in," I say, trying to keep my voice steady.

Olivia climbs into the backseat of the van, and I follow, making sure to sit as far away from her as possible. Liam takes the driver's seat, and Mercer climbs in the passenger side.

But as soon as Liam starts the engine, Olivia lets out a whimper, and I can feel her eyes on me as her scent grows even stronger. I instinctively move closer to her, forgetting for a moment that I need to resist her.

"Please," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't want to be alone."

I can't ignore her pleading tone, and I know that I need to protect her. I take a deep breath and reach for her hand, trying to offer her some comfort.

"It's okay," I say, my voice low. "We'll take care of you."

Olivia leans into me, her head resting on my shoulder, and I can feel the heat coming off her body. My instincts are screaming at me to claim her, to take off her clothes and put my bite all over her to protect her. I've dealt with plenty of omegas, but I've never felt likethisbefore.

Like my body is on fire.

Like I'm going to fucking burn if she isn'tmine.

We drive in silence, the tension in the van palpable. I can feel Liam's eyes on us through the rearview mirror, but I can't bring myself to care. All that matters is getting Olivia to safety.

As we drive, I can feel her hand tracing patterns on my thigh, her scent becoming even more potent. My control is slipping, and I know that I need to get her out of here soon before I do something I'll regret.
