“Yes sir,” she said with a smirk and his hand gripped her hip, turning her so that she was laying out along his chest.
“Sarcasm does not suit you, pethi mou,” he stated before lifting her chin, covering her lips in a near punishing kiss.
Had she not loved him it would cause her to hate him, but instead, it woke every point along her body and made her want him to touch her completely, with no barriers between them. His leg slid between her thighs and she wished she were wearing a dress rather than the jumpsuit allowing him to slide his hands up her skin. His hand did slip beneath the skinny straps that crossed her back and she felt her breasts swell with need and want, their tips hard pebbles pressing into his shirted chest.
“Stefano, perhaps Hailey and I should be heading to her home,” Olympia called out softly stilling his hand as it began to slide around to her front.
“If it wouldn’t kill our mothers, I would whisk you away and marry you right now my darling angel,” Stefano stated pressing a soft kiss to Hailey’s lips as a slight flush stole up her cheeks. “Remind me again why I said yes to waiting?”
“Because you love me and want our wedding night, our first night together, to be more than just about the physicality of it,” she said making sure her wrap covered her breasts from view.
“June is too far away; I should have insisted on sooner though.”
“You will survive, I promise our wedding night will make up for every moment of discomfort you’ve experienced my love,” Hailey said letting him pull her into his side as they walked towards the doors with Olympia and Xavier.
“You will,” he agreed with a look that had her stomach and heart fluttering. “I will let Karl take you and Olympia home alone tonight. I do not dare risk my control again so soon.”
“I suppose I’ll allow you to stay since you made this morning so pleasing for me. I will be out tomorrow afternoon again; Mom and Elena have arranged a meeting with a decorator for reception ideas.”
“And how did the dress shopping today go? Did you find something you liked?” Stefano asked guiding them to the car.
“I found the start of my dress. Alberto is making it unique just for me, but I dare say you’ll detest it,” she teased making him tense as he paused, opening the door.
“Why is that?” he queried looking between her and Olympia.
“Because it is made to fit like second skin, quite revealing wouldn’t you say Olympia?” she said looking to her with a grin.
“Hailey and I did try to say you wouldn’t approve but your mother insisted as did Hailey’s, they loved it and said that after the wedding night you would too…”
Stefano saw the wink Olympia sent to Hailey and breathed out knowing they were fooling him. He pulled Hailey up against his chest and caught her lips in another kiss that left him clinging to sanity while his body demanded he pick her up, carry her back into the apartment, and make love to her until they could not move.
“I don’t think he quite believes us,” Olympia said when he finally released Hailey.
“I dare say he doesn’t,” she agreed with a laughing smile. “Don’t worry my love, though fitted it’s quite modest.”
“Especially compared to the dress you wore at dinner after the announcement or the back of your top tonight,” Olympia added.
“Oh, he can’t complain about this outfit, he chose it after all,” Hailey stated surprising Olympia immensely. “He didn’t like my wardrobe and insisted on taking me shopping.”
“You were showing off the whole length of your legs, pethi mou, it was distracting to not only me, but every other man near you, and I would die if one of them hurt you. You are my life. I can’t imagine not having you just as you are.”
“I will never change, not when you treat me so well just as I am,” she said giving him a last kiss before telling Xavier goodnight.
“Goodnight Miss Hailey, Olympia, I very much enjoyed getting to know you,” Xavier said, and she saw a blush slip into Olympia’s cheeks.
“As did I you, goodnight Xavier,” Olympia replied kissing his cheek before giving Stefano a smile, sliding into the car with Hailey.
“I dare say you’ll still be getting married soon and staying near me,” Hailey told her as Karl pulled away from the curb.
“He is wonderful. I told him about Demetrius and the accident…and he still wanted to see me. My heart is…”
“Fluttering, your stomach feels as though you’re floating atop of water?” Hailey offered and Olympia smiled more.
“Yes, I’ve never felt like this before, not even when Demetrius was being charming. I don’t know how to explain it.”
“With one-word Olympia, love,” she said squeezing her hand. “It’s how I feel every time I’m with Stefano.”
“And then the desire fills in on top of it, makes it difficult to think rationally?”
