I don’t care what I look like or how I sound as I cry out his name. His lapping tongue sends bolts of electricity through my body, culminating in my woozy brain. I find myself becoming more sensitive to his touch, and I hold my breath in anticipation of the colossal orgasm that’s about to overwhelm me. It’s like sitting at the top of the track waiting for the roller coaster to drop.

My muscles contract, clamping down on his hand, and I buck and thrash as the wings of a thousand butterflies flutter inside my core. Wave after wave of glorious relief rolls down my spine and into the most feminine parts of me. He climbs up beside me and kisses me, giving me a healthy taste of my own juices in the process. He removes the cuffs then lies down and pulls me to his chest.

“I like making you scream. You taste better than apple pie,” he tells me.

I expect that at any moment, he’ll look for some reciprocation but he simply strokes my hair until I fall back to sleep in his arms.

A NIGHT ON THE TOWN

LEV

Leah is still asleep when I dress and get ready to leave for work. The diner has cut her shifts significantly, claiming that business is slow, so I decide to take advantage of her time off by planning a romantic night on the town.

Before leaving, I place a note and my credit card on the bedside table. I want her to go out and treat herself to a spa day and, of course, buy something to wear for our first official date.

I’ve only been at the station ten minutes when I receive a text from her telling me that she feels funny using my money for things like that. To ensure that there’s no misunderstanding, I pick up the phone and call her.

“Hello?” she answers.

“Malyshka, I just wanted to make myself clear. I wasn’t suggesting that you treat yourself to a spa day and buy a new outfit. I was telling you to do it. Hair, nails, massage, and anything else that will make you feel good. Then, go get yourself a sexy dress and all the accessories. Don’t try to cut corners because you’re worried about spending my money. Do it and do it right. Do you understand?”

She’s silent for a long stretch then says, “Okay. I’m sorry, I just…”

“I know exactly what you were thinking, but it’s my money and I decide how it’s spent. Now, go relax and have a good time. You deserve the best.”

“Oh…okay,” she says, seemingly rattled by my assertion. “You’re not angry, are you?”

“No, but I will be if I see that you didn’t do as you were told, little girl. Now, I’ll have a car waiting for you out front in an hour. They’ll take you anywhere that you want to go. I have to hang up. It’s time for roll call.”

“I’ll be ready. Thank you, Lev.”

I end the call and can’t help but grin thinking about how good she’s going to look when I return home to pick her up. I knew she would try to argue with me about the money, but I can’t allow that. Leah deserves the world on a silver platter, and I plan to give it to her.

“Lev,” someone calls out to me, pulling me back to reality. I turn to see my old partner, David, waving for me to stop.

“What’s up, David? We need to be at roll call.”

“Did you hear about the guy that was nosing around the parking structure?”

“No, when did that happen?”

“Just a little while ago. He was spotted on camera peeking into the patrol cars. They questioned him and sent him off with just a warning because he wasn’t doing anything technically illegal.”

“And why are you telling me?” I start to grow impatient as I wonder where he’s going with this story.

“Because he seemed to be very interested in your car. They said he even tried to open the driver’s side door.”

“And they just let him go? Why didn’t they contact me first so I could check him out?” I grit my teeth, thinking about the incompetence of it all.

“I don’t know but just, well, just watch your back. It’s probably nothing but better safe than sorry, right?”

“Right. Thanks for telling me, man.”

“It didn’t seem like anyone else was going to and we need to watch out for each other, you know?”

“Absolutely. Now, let’s get to roll call.”
