She could only focus on Razor. The way he knew what her body needed. The hot words he whispered in her ear; lewd promises, but so much praise she didn’t even know she needed to hear. When he yanked her hair again, he turned her head to kiss her, and she was lost. Powerless to do anything but surrender to how he made her feel.
She screamed against his mouth, then he groaned and yanked his head away, letting go of her hair, and moving both hands to her hips so he could drive inside her harder and faster, prolonging the orgasm rushing through her. She screamed again as a second wave hit even harder than before. “Fuck,” Razor hissed as he finally stilled and emptied inside her.
Neither of them moved; for a few long moments, the only sound filling the room was their ragged breathing. Finally, Razor eased out, grabbing his shirt to clean her up. He carefully helped her to her feet, as she was so drained she could feel her mind starting to shut down from exhaustion. He helped her into her pants and t-shirt, keeping her underwear and bra for himself, then quickly pulled on his jeans. He swept her up into his arms, carrying her out of the room.
She was too tired to argue, and had the fleeting thought she was just going to close her eyes for a minute and then she would leave. No matter how much she wanted to stay.
CHAPTERELEVEN
RAZOR
He left her sleeping in his bed before heading downstairs for Church. She was out like a light before he even left the gym, and something in him had settled as he carried her. He felt like maybe, just maybe, he got through to her. That she was finally starting to realize he wasn’t going to let her go. It was time she had someone in her corner besides Esme. They might be best friends, but he was her forever.
Even if he had to fight her attempts to run every step of the way.
When he reached the bottom of the stairs, he ignored the smirks and jeers. He made his way over to one of the Prospects. Tom had been around for a few months now and so far was cool and level-headed, doing what was asked without complaint, and even showing he wasn’t intimidated by some of the scarier members. Rogue, Steel, and Ice especially. Which is exactly why he wanted him to watch Karissa.
“Prospect, need you to do me a favor,” he said as he reached the bar where Tom was cleaning glasses.
“Need me to watch your Old Lady?” Tom asked easily.
Razor nodded. “Don’t need you to stand outside the door, but keep an ear out in case she tries to run off again.” He hoped he had gotten through to her, but there was still the chance she was going to run.
Tom nodded. “And if she does?” he lifted a brow curiously.
Razor chuckled. “You’ve seen her in action, so if you want to try and take her down then go ahead, but there better not be one scratch or bruise on her when I get back.” He gave him a hard look.
Tom nodded. “Fine. Sam is on guard duty for the twins and the kids, but I’ll call Luca in from the gate if I need back up.” He said it so seriously that Razor couldn’t help but grin.
“You do that,” he agreed. It made him proud to know that his woman was already getting a reputation around here. She would keep everyone on their toes.
He turned and headed for the door to Church, but stopped when Esme stepped in his path. She gave him a narrowed-eyed look and demanded, “So?”
He didn’t need to ask what she was referring to. “She’s in my bed asleep. I don’t know if she’s still going to try and leave, but I’m hoping we hashed it out. I’ve got a Prospect on duty watching to make sure she doesn’t try and sneak out.”
“Good,” Esme said with a nod. “I’m kind of pissed she kept this from me, but we’ll work through it.” Her lips twitched. “How’re your balls? You’re not limping so she couldn’t have hurt you too badly.”
“Gonna be bruised and sore in a few places, but figure it’s worth it if I can make her open her eyes and stay,” he admitted.
“I’ll try too. And for what it’s worth, I think you two are good together, but you’re going to have a fight on your hands for a while. Especially when she wakes up and remembers everything that happened and what was said. Now, I’m going to go get Gabe from school and hopefully she’ll sleep until then. When I get back I’ll talk to her.”
Razor nodded and headed into Church as she headed out the door. Though not before Fury snagged her and hauled her off into a corner. Razor ignored them and found most everyone already there and waiting. He took his seat and looked around the table at all the grinning faces. He rolled his eyes and said, “Alright, get it over with.”
“We were wondering if we would need to get Doc to check you over,” Ink snickered. “Hell, I’m surprised you can still walk.”
“Maybe she felt bad and took it easy on him,” Jax suggested with a grin.
Razor crossed his arms over his chest. “The bruises and scratches I’ve got would say otherwise,” he pointed out drily.
Ice gave a low chuckle. “Something tells me that if she wanted to kill you, you would already be dead and we’d be burying your body right about now. Your woman has had some training. That neck thing she did isn’t something you learn in self-defense.” Steel nodded his agreement.
Before he could reply, the door opened and slammed shut behind him as Fury and Savage walked in. Savage took his seat at the head of the table and banged his gavel, as Fury took his seat on the other side of Razor. Razor bit back a chuckle at the way Fury’s hair was mussed, and if he wasn’t mistaken, he saw the starting of a small hickey just under his jawline. Fury sent him a smug look before turning toward Savage. Church was in session, so the teasing would have to wait.
“Alright, we have a situation,” Savage said briskly as he glanced around the table before his eyes settled on Razor. “Seems your woman is having some trouble.”
Razor nodded. “Apparently some girl she was in foster care with tried to kill her, and is coming after her to finish the job. I think there are more details, but I didn’t hear that part, and I was too busy trying to keep her here to ask.”
“You mean too busy trying to keep her from kicking your ass,” Jax interjected with a laugh. Razor flipped him off, making everyone else around the table laugh too.
