“Niagara Falls. One of the men said it was nice. We could take the trolley, visit the Old Fort, see what’s playing at the theater tonight...”

“And stay in a hotel with a heart-shaped Jacuzzi?” Sophie teased because that’s all she knew of the area. She’d never been to the falls herself, but a friend of hers from university had been proposed to in a heart-shaped red Jacuzzi that had apparently taken up a good portion of their hotel room.

“A room with a heart-shaped Jacuzzi could be interesting if it’s big enough for two,” Alasdair said, his voice deepening and sexy as hell. “What do you say? Can I take you away for a bit?”

“Yes,” she breathed.

“Then I’m on my way,” he said promptly.

“I’m just leaving work.”

“I’ll meet you at the apartment,” he said. “See you soon.”

“Soon,” Sophie agreed, and ended the call with a smile.

“Ohhhh, look at that smile. You’ve got it bad, sister,” Megan teased as Sophie slid her phone back into her purse.

“He is not taking you to Niagara Falls, is he?” Bobby asked with disbelief.

Sophie glanced at him with a start. “How did you know?”

“Where else would you find something as tacky as a heart-shaped Jacuzzi?” he asked dryly.

Sophie grinned at his disgusted expression. “He’s taking me there for the rest of the weekend.”

“So, I should tell Mom you won’t be around for Sunday dinner?” Bobby asked, eyebrows raised.

“Oh yeah,” Sophie said with a small frown. She always had Sunday dinner with the Tomlinsons. It was something of a tradition, becoming more important once she, Megan, and Bobby had moved out to their own homes. Mama made a big meal and they all got together to talk about the week and what was going on in everyone’s life. It was family night and something everyone made an effort to attend.

“I’m not sure when we’ll be back tomorrow,” she admitted finally. “I’ll call when I know one way or the other.”

Bobby nodded, but Megan scowled and said, “Well, that sucks. No family dinner and—if he’s taking you out of town to some tacky love hotel—the Six Orgasm Man won’t want his brother and I tagging along, so no chance for me to meet the twin.”

“No,” Sophie agreed. “I’d say not.”

Megan clucked with irritation. “I need to meet his brother, Soph. I need me some six orgasm nights.”

A soft laugh slipped from her lips when Megan gave her puppy dog eyes, but she said, “Sorry, love, I guess it’s not in the cards this weekend.” When Megan began to pout, she added, “But I promise that while we’re there I’ll talk to him about getting you two together. Maybe we can do something next week.”

“But that’s sooo far away,” Megan whined.

“That’s okay, Megan Muffin,” Bobby said sympathetically, throwing an arm around her shoulder. “I still love you and I have a couple of buddies I could set you up with.”

“Ugh!” Megan shrugged his arm off. “I’ve met your buddies, Bobby. Soooo not interested.”

“Hey! My buddies are cool,” Bobby protested.

Sophie left them to bicker and hurried the rest of the way to the front door. Her mind was already on what she should pack. It was a little cool today, more like the fall temperatures it should be, and she thought tomorrow was supposed to be the same. She’d need to listen to the weather forecast on the way home, Sophie thought as she reached her car.

“Hey! Wait!”

Sophie glanced around, eyebrows rising as she watched Megan hurry toward her across the parking lot.

“What’s up, buttercup?” she asked when Megan reached her.

Panting, Megan put up a hand, requesting a second to catch her breath, and then got out, “Your car.”

“My car?” Sophie asked.
