He turned and walked away, disappearing into his yard. Holly and Declan fell into each other’s arms laughing.

“We might have to move,” Holly said.

“No way. Next year, your display is going to be the best of the neighborhood.”

“I thought you didn’t care about the holidays or silly competitions?”

“I don’t, but I love you, and that guy annoys me so much I’m willing to put aside my principles to kick his ass.”

Holly giggled. “Should we take our indecent display inside?”

“Only because I want you naked and all to myself.”

“I like the way you think.”
