Jasper apologized but didn’t look sorry in the least. We clambered into the truck, and damn, it was a tight fit. We were all inside and out of the wind, though, and Greg looked satisfied. Of course, he was the only one not totally squished. Then again, when he looked behind Ty and Declan and into my eyes, his showed relief and I knew it was because he’d worried about us. There was also a spark of heat there that always accompanied him getting his way. I squeezed Jasper a little harder, and he relaxed into me for the short but bumpy ride home.
The house was lit up like a Christmas tree when we arrived. A plume of smoke rose from the chimney and the tree was front and center in the picture window. There was something comforting and welcoming about a decorated house at Christmas time. I’d missed it more than I’d realized the last few years. No more winter tours.
I let out a sigh as we waited for the garage door to open, and Jasper turned just enough that he could crane his neck around to see me. “This means a lot to you.” It wasn’t a question but more a statement. Then he gestured around the house as best as he could with his head pushed against the roof of the truck, his knees in the dashboard, and his arms pinned between the window, the windshield, and Ty.
I nodded slowly. “It’s welcoming. It’s warm and just screams home.” I didn’t have any better words to describe it.
“I’m sorry,” Jasper nearly whispered.
“For what?”
I felt him deflate in my grasp, so I tightened my arms around his waist. “For waiting so long to decorate. For not having anything here. I honestly hadn’t realized how important it was for you.”
I pressed a kiss to the back of his shoulder, not even sure he could feel it through all the layers. “Even if we never decorated again, I’d be happy just being with you guys. I don’t need all the pomp and circumstance to be happy.” I hesitated, not wanting to make Jasper more upset but knowing I needed to explain to him why the decorations were important. “Some of my best childhood memories involve this ranch. Showing up here at Christmas time with the house decked out from chimney to driveway, lights twinkling, cookies baking, music playing—it always made my insides warm. When Dare and I went to college, we were both homesick, so even before Thanksgiving we’d gone to the store and bought a ton of decorations. Everyone in the dorm thought it was because we’d wanted to win the room decorating contest, but it had been because we’d both missed the ranch so much.”
My cheeks flushed before I got the next thing out of my mouth. “As silly as it sounds now, I know that I missed you as much as I missed the house. I’d been more than a little in love with you, even way back then. And for some reason, your bitching about how much work it took to decorate every year made me smile and miss you more. So when I see the house all decorated, I always feel closer to you.”
Ty gave a dreamy sigh beside me. “Holy shit, Jas, that’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard. How the hell did you get a guy like Harrison to fall in love with you in high school?” There was no bite to his words, nothing malicious. Before anyone could say a thing, Ty amended his statement. “I just don’t know how anyone gets that lucky so young. And he loves you even more today. God, I’m so glad you’re getting married.” He turned to look at Greg. “All of you, because without you, my brother would have never found happiness.”
Jasper ducked his head and I watched the back of his ears turn even redder as Greg parked the truck. He came around and opened the door for us, then held our hands as we headed in through the garage. “For what it’s worth, I’m damn lucky I found you two,” he whispered to us.
I lifted up on my toes and kissed his cheek. “I think we can all agree with that.” I glanced back at the outside as the garage shut to see that it had begun to snow again. I was still baffled by the amount of snow we were getting and couldn’t seem to wrap my head around having a white Christmas for the first time in my life. I just hoped it tapered off by Christmas Day so that everyone could make it to Oklahoma in time for our wedding.
We made it into the kitchen to find Colt standing at the sink rinsing a bottle out. The fact that not one of us even gave it a second glance spoke volumes about how close we all were. He put his finger to his lips in a silencing gesture and pointed toward the living room. “I couldn’t convince him to go to the bed, so he’s out in there.” We all nodded and made sure to be quiet as we stripped our winter gear off and headed for the steps.
Derek was curled on the couch, his hair still damp from a shower. His body was covered under a snowman blanket that had appeared after the family shopping trip earlier in the week. His blanket was pushed under his nose, and I couldn’t see his fist, but I was certain his thumb was pressed between his lips.
Greg placed one hand on Jasper’s back and the other on mine. “Shower, now,” he nearly purred as he ushered us up the steps and into the bedroom. He didn’t stop until we were all in the bathroom, and he headed directly toward the shower to turn the water on. I knew he’d turned it warmer than he normally would just by the way the steam billowed up from the showerheads.
Jasper and I moved at the same time, our hands going to our sweatshirts to pull them off. Greg stepped closer to Jasper and took the shirt from his hands. The two were so fucking hot together, I had a hard time remembering to continue undressing myself. Greg worked the sweatshirt over Jasper’s head with practiced ease, then the T-shirt he was wearing, and tossed them into the hamper, never even looking in that direction. The action drew my attention from them just long enough to admire his aim, but it was pulled back when Jasper let out a little hum.
His blue eyes had gone slightly unfocused, and he had a soft smile on his face. I wasn’t going to be the one to point out that Jasper thrived when Greg took control because I didn’t think either of them even realized it happened. It was so natural to them both, and I was definitely the perv who couldn’t take my eyes off of them in those moments. They were both sexy and sweet, and Jasper seemed to let every stress and worry go when Greg took over.
Sure, having Greg undress me and focus all of his attention on me was hot as hell, but for me it did nothing but turn me on and make me anxious to get a dick in my ass. It was something different for them—beautiful, sexy, and tender—and I loved that they had that just for themselves.
I dropped my pants and underwear in one go, never taking my eyes off them. Greg was taking his time, undressing Jasper piece by piece and making sure to run his hands over his skin the entire way. Jasper was hard, but unlike me, who was nearly ready to sink my fingers into my ass totally dry then beg one of them to fuck me brainless, Jasper had hardly moved and looked like he could stay like that forever. Sometimes, I wondered where he went in moments like this, but I knew he’d have a hard time finding that total peace if I brought it up with him. Maybe one day he’d volunteer that information, but until then I was going to enjoy watching the two of them and be thankful they both had this.
Greg dropped to his knees in front of Jasper, helping him out of his jeans and then grasping his underwear and removing it with just as much care as the jeans and his shirts. I couldn’t take my eyes off his hands as he caressed the outsides of Jasper’s legs. Jasper’s lips parted but no sound came out, his eyes half-closed as he soaked up the attention. Greg guided Jasper’s legs up, one at a time, and removed the material pooled around his ankles before standing to toss it into the laundry.
A wicked grin crossed his face when he saw me watching, my dick sticking straight out from my body. “You, beautiful, are a bit of a voyeur, aren’t you?”
The sound I let out was partway between a cough and a moan, but it was enough to have Greg chuckling. “Good thing I have no problem being a bit of an exhibitionist, at least where you two are concerned.” He pointed toward the shower. “Now, both of you, get in.”
In the eight feet it took me to get from where I was standing to the shower, a million wicked and naughty thoughts crossed my mind. Everything from begging Greg to use the giant DP dildo on me that Derek had bought for a bachelor’s party gift, to sinking to my knees and begging them to cum on my face. I was certain I was horny enough that a touch would be enough to get me off.
All my wicked thoughts washed straight down the drain when I stepped into the shower and the hot water began pelting my cold skin. “Holy shit, this is better than sex.” I moaned as the water cascaded over my head and shoulders.
Jasper let out a small laugh beside me. “That moan definitely sounds like it.”
I tried to come up with a response, but I was thwarted by a yawn that threatened to pop my ears. When had I become so tired? Greg chuckled from behind me. “There went my wicked plans with you guys.”
“No, no, sex good,” I rushed to say. “Not that tired.”
Greg squeezed bodywash onto my hands. “Focus on Jasper, beautiful. Even if you could find the energy, he isn’t going to be able to.” He turned me toward Jasper, and despite his erection, I could see how exhausted he really was.
“I’m too tired for sex, but that doesn’t mean you two can’t do something,” Jasper said between yawns.
We really were getting too old to play for hours in the snow.
