So, I bit her neck at the same time I drove into her with a particularly deep thrust, and she finally exploded around me. Her release brought on mine, and I let go, falling over the edge of ecstasy with her.

I slumped, panting and holding my weight up on my elbows as best I could, but I knew I wasn’t doing very well. My whole body shivered, and I rolled off of her so I could fully relax without worrying about hurting her. Before I lost all of my energy, I reached up and untied the tie from the bed and slipped the knot off of her wrists. She began rubbing them, and I took them from her so I could rub them myself.

The best and most important part of any sort of submission play was the aftercare.

I rubbed her wrists in my hands, and she turned towards me. The line of her pale body stood out against the black background of the room, and I realized she was my opposite. She was everything light and good while I was the dark and the dangerous. I hoped with all of my soul right then that I would live to deserve her one day.

“How are your wrists?” I asked, bringing each one up to my mouth to kiss the red lines twisting around them. She smiled.

“I’m fine, Gio, really. That was…”

“Amazing?” I offered.

“I was going to say ‘mind blowing’, but amazing works too. We really do connect well on a physical level, don’t we?” she said and reached up to brush the few locks of hair that had fallen into my eyes.

“We do.”

“We didn’t use a condom.” she pointed out, concern wrinkling her eyebrows. “Are you…? I mean, I’m clean. I haven't had sex in… I forget how long, and I’m on birth control.”

I snorted.

“Well, first of all, Yes, I’m clean. I get tested regularly. Second of all, you forgot the last time you had sex? It’s been that long?” I asked, aghast. She gave me a one-shoulder shrug as I rolled onto my side so we could face each other on the bed. I still held her wrists, rubbing them gently.

“Yes, it has. I’ve been super busy growing the business. It didn’t leave much time for personal relationships. And any physical needs I had could be taken care of with my vibrator,” she admitted, and my dick twitched at the word “vibrator.”

Down boy. Not again so soon.

“So you are, what, a born-again virgin?” I snickered and she laughed too, a little surprised.

“Yeah, I guess so. Or I was until you brought me up here and tied me to the bed.”

“Shit, darling, do you have any idea how perfect you are? No wonder that prick wants to hold onto you so badly.”

With those words, her face fell, and I realized how much of an asshole I was.

“Shit, I’m sorry. I’m no good at the after-sex part. Normally I don’t stick around long enough to even pretend I’m good at it. I just have a bad habit of saying whatever is on my mind, you know? I didn’t mean…”

“It’s fine,” she interrupted me. “It just brought me back to reality a little too quickly. I get it. Besides, complete honesty is better than you saying only what you think I want to hear.”

“Fair,” I nodded. “Come here.”

I pulled her to me, putting my arms around her as she burrowed into my chest. I put my head on top of hers and smelled the sweet scent of her shampoo. She trembled a little and reached behind me to grab the edge of the blanket and pull as much of it over us as she could. It was not enough to cover us both, so I held it over her so she wouldn't be cold—if in fact that was why she was shivering.

“I’ll take care of him. You know that right?” I told her. I could feel her nod against my chest.

“But at what cost?” she asked.

Unfortunately, I didn’t know the answer.

Chapter eleven

Victoria

I woke up to a hand rubbing my breast in smooth, circular motions and a cock pressed against my butt.

It took me a moment to realize I was at Gio’s, and I was sleeping in Gio’s bed next to him—so what I was feeling was not a dream.

Then, all the memories flooded back into my mind. We had, in fact, had sex the previous night. Amazing sex. I would go so far as to call it phenomenal sex. And that was right after I had discovered that my ex-boyfriend—who happened to be in a Mafia group that was an archrival of my fiancé—had broken into my apartment.
