“Dominic, in the morning come by the house so we can figure out how we’re going to get Adrian.” I slam the rest of the scotch back and place the tumbler on the bar. “I’m going home.” I head downstairs so I can get to my girl.

My cock needs to be inside of her.

Chapter eighteen

Eliza

Storm and I head into the kitchen so I can make something to eat. “Miss Eliza,” Maria says when she sees me. She smiles at Storm. “That puppy is everywhere you are.”

Storm lies on the marble flooring on his side. “He’s a good dog.” I open the fridge and stare at what’s in it.

“Can I make you something?”

“I’m a little hungry.”

“You are?” Maria’s voice elevates. “I can make anything you want,” she says as she begins to fuss over me. “What would you like? I’m making a tiramisu for dessert tonight.” Maria pointedly glances at the station she’s set up for the dessert.

“You keep making that, I’ll just see what’s in the fridge. I’m sure there’s leftovers from last night.” I’m perusing the contents, trying to find something that I might want to eat.

“There you are.” Ruben’s deep drawl glides over my skin.

I close the fridge and turn to find Ruben squatting and petting Storm’s side. “I thought you’d be out,” I say as I head over toward him.

He stands to his feet and kisses my cheek. “We’ll be leaving soon. I wanted to let you know that Rose is arriving. But I need you to come to the office.” He leaves the kitchen and I follow. Storm lifts his head to see me leave, stands, and trots behind me.

Once Storm and I are in the office, Ruben gestures for me to sit on the sofa. “I feel like I’m in trouble.”

Ruben chuckles as he takes his phone out of his pocket, does something, then tucks it back into his suit jacket. “I’ve arranged for you and Rose to go to the spa, and then to lunch. Here.” He opens the top drawer of his desk and hands me a black credit card.

With hesitation I reach out and take them. My name is on the credit card, and I crinkle my brows as I turn it over, then look up at him. “What’s this?”

“It’s your credit card to purchase whatever you want. There’s no limit, so have fun.”

“I don’t want your money, Ruben,” I say as I hold it out for him to take back.

“I never said you did. But, if you want something, buy it.” Three of his men appear at the door. They all stand with their shoulders rigidly pulled back. “This is your security detail. They go where you go.”

I’ve seen these three around the grounds often. They were with us when we went to the zoo too. “Security?” I ask with confusion.

“Yes. Salvo.” The first one gives me a nod. “Sabele.” The second one acknowledges me with a nod too. “And Christian.” The third does the same. “Leave,” Ruben instructs them.

“So, you’re giving me money and security?”

“Yes. I want you to have fun with your sister today.” He begins to move toward his office chair, but I stay seated with the credit card in my hands while staring at him. “What is it, Amorina?”

I deliberately look toward the door, then back at Ruben. “Believe it or not, I’m not going to say anything about the security, because I absolutely understand the need for them. Especially considering who you are, and you likely have a lot of enemies who’d do whatever they could to get to you. But...” I hold up the credit card. “This? Is this necessary?”

“Absolutely.” He furrows his brows and rakes his hand through his hair. “I thought I’d have more of an argument about the security than the money.”

“I know with me having security it means you won’t need to worry, and like I said that’s a given in this lifestyle. But the money? You’ve already given me so much, I don’t feel right taking this without earning it.”

Ruben stands up from his office chair and walks over to the sofa to sit beside me. He takes the credit card and lays it between us, then cradles my hands in his. “Consider it an interest-free loan. When you decide what you want to do, you can repay what you use.” A cheeky smirk tugs at his lips as his eyes darken. “I do recall something about being a pole dancer.” He releases my hands and taps his finger on his lip. “I also remember saying I’d be installing a pole in my bedroom.”

“That might be fun to do. But.” I pick the credit card up and wave it toward him. “We really need to be serious about this.”

“It’s an interest-free loan.”

“And you’ll accept the money I give you for it?”
