“Really,” He confirms. “I can’t wait to watch all your dreams come true. I’m going to cheer you on anyway I can.”
This is what sent me over. The feeling of someone believing in me to do remarkable things, the care in which he has for me. The unwavering support he gives me.
“Don’t cry. Save those tears for a better scenario. One where there’s spanking evolved.” He jokes.
“Thank you, Ru. Seriously, no one has ever believed in me the way you have. I promise you that one day I will pay you back for this. You will never have to worry that you put your faith in the wrong person.” I continue with tears in my eyes.
“I don’t need to worry. I know how great you already are.”
I clean the tears rolling down my face. “Well, then I better get started on this dress.”
As I sit in the chair of my new office, I feel a new way of hope and readiness to take on whatever comes my way.
The room has new drawers that were put in. I look inside them and see an abundance of silk fabrics. They must cost a fortune; the texture alone tells me its worth.
Ru
The look on Taurus’s face as she saw the room and her awe of the hair stick made it all worthwhile. I peek into the sewing room and see her holding the measuring tape in her mouth and a pencil in her ear. I smile to myself and hope the feeling lasts for a long time.
Making a phone call to my lawyer gave me a blistering headache. I need to know what the fuck is going on with my son. Did he burn down Taurus’s home? Did all the bullshit finally catch up with him? Fuck, what in the actual fuck is this kid doing?
My phone vibrates and I pick up the call.
“Tell your girlfriend, to answer the phone.” Taurus’s mother Tasmin growls.
Is this woman serious? “Didn’t I tell you to stay away from her?”
“Except, this is important. I want you to be a part of the discussion as well. Since this matter does concern you.”
“What are you talking about?”
She sighs, “This isn’t something I can just say over the phone. You wouldn’t believe me. So, I’m inviting both of you to dinner, Greyson will be there too. Let’s say tomorrow night. I’ll send you the address.” The last thing she says to me before hanging up the phone.
Tomorrow night huh? What is she up to? There’s no way I’m gonna let her anywhere near Taurus again. So, I’ll play Tasmin’s little game, so Taurus doesn’t have to.
Where are you?
-Ru
Still putting on a fatherly face? When you’re knee-deep in my girl.
-Greyson
Don’t be vulgar. Where are you?
-Ru
I’m guessing she invited you to this little dinner too, huh?
-Greyson
Do you know why?
-Ru
No clue.
-Greyson
