Jeff ran his thumb up my side and stroked the underside of my breast, and tears sprang to my eyes at the humiliating realization that I was now - officially - a whore. I blinked them back and forced myself to stay still. I would have to deal with much more than just a bit of stroking by the end of the night, and I could hardly weep my way through it.

When I couldn’t take it anymore, I pulled away gently and smiled at both the bastards who had reduced me to this.

“Excuse me for a moment, gentlemen. I need to powder my nose,” I said politely and walked away with my head held high, aware of Leo’s damning eyes following me to the door.

CHAPTER 3

LEO

He touched Tia.

He touched her!

I wanted to rip his hand off and feed it to him in pieces. But before I could take one step towards him, a hand clamped itself around my arm like a vice.

“Marcus, get over here,” hissed Luke.

Marcus hurried towards us and shot Luke a quizzical glance.

“What’s going on?”

“We need to lock him down. He just saw Tia with that smarmy bastard,” whispered Luke urgently.

I turned to him in surprise.

“How do you know Tia? What’s going on?”

He snorted in reply.

“Dude, we know everything. When are you going to learn that?”

“What Luke is trying to say but failing because he’s a showy idiot is that we know something happened between you and TiaMonani. We have footage of you leaving her apartment three years ago. And seeing how you shut down completely after that, it wasn’t too difficult to connect the dots. So, yes. We know that she means something to you. Which means that she means a lot to us even if we don’t know her,” explained Marcus.

“And that’s why we’ve kept an eye on her for the past three years. It wasn’t difficult. All she does is go to work and go back home. Just like someone else we know,” said Luke, staring at me meaningfully.

I shrugged my hand out of his grasp and dusted off my sleeves.

“I have no idea what you’re babbling about, so I’m going to…”

Luke snorted again, and I wanted to give him a nose job with my fist. Maybe that would stop him from making that irritating sound.

“Leo, unclench your fist right now,” snarled Marcus. “Aunt Fee will disown you if you punch your brother in public with so many reporters present. She’s raised us better than that, dammit!”

They had spied on me! And they were still spying on Tia! What the hell was wrong with my brothers?

“I will never forgive you guys for spying on me,” I growled. “And FYI, you have wasted your time and money. Tia Monani means nothing to me.”

“First of all, we have every right to find out what is troubling the brother who has been more of a father to us than our real father, and we don’t care if we have to steal some surveillance footage to do that,” argued Luke. “And secondly, if you don’t care about her why did you get so furious when that man touched her?”

My fists clenched again at the reminder of how Jeff Sabri had put his hands on Tia.

Marcus put his hand on my shoulder and leaned forward a little, looking worried.

“Guys, it’s worse than that. Much worse.”

My gut twisted in premonition.

“What do you mean?”
