“I think I only had a taste and I want more. I think she’s the most perfect woman we’ve ever been with and I think I feel a lot more strongly about her than I’ve ever felt about any woman we’ve ever been with.”

“Right. Do you think Bruno was good?”

Most people think that Marco is our leader at all times. In the bedroom that’s not the case. Bruno is the one that likes to call the shots in the bedroom.

“I think he loves her. I think we all do. I think I’d do any damn thing for her.”

“I think you’re right. But I’m worried that we’re gonna get hung up on her and she’s gonna bail on us.”

“I don’t think so. I think we made sure that she had a good time and she’ll know where she can get more.”

I think she’s not been with anyone for awhile so it might be a little bit of time before she hits us back up.

But I know that I’m her man and I can wait until she’s ready for more.

I narrow my eyes.I know that damn walk. Why do I know this guy?

Bruno comes in the door. “Hey! I heard through the grapevine that there’s gonna be another theft tonight.”

“I didn’t hear anything.”

“I have better sources than you. What do you want?”

“Rude.”

“One of us should go into Vi’s office and check up on her. I haven’t had a chance to talk to her for a few days.”

“Yeah. Okay. How about we get the car and go take a look at her? Make sure she’s taking care of herself.”

Bruno and I duck out of the office and Marco follows us. “Dammit! I’ve got to stay here and make sure that if we get anything, it’s counted somewhere.”

“Yeah. Okay.” We get in the car and Cannon grins.

“Do I need to ask where you’re going?”

“Nope. Take us to her office.”

I close the window and Bruno groans at me. “Cannon knows where her office is. I can’t believe our driver knows but I don’t know.”

“You’ve been busy and this is all new. Why are you getting so bent about this?”

He sighs and runs his fingers through his hair. “I don’t know. I miss her and I feel like we should have tried to see her before this. It’s been a week. I have a bad feeling.”

Furrowing my brow, I stare at him. He’s the least likely one of us to get mysterious feelings. The fact that he’s this jacked up now has me antsy as hell.

I lower the barrier. “Get us there as fast as you can, Cannon.” He nods and I put the barrier back up.

“I’m sure you’re just wanting her and it’s messing with your head. Just sit back and relax.”

But when we’re pulling up outside the building and see the police cars, I feel a sinking feeling in my gut.

“Oh fuck!” Bruno groans. “I knew we should have got here sooner. This is bad.”

“Just cause there are cops here doesn’t mean that it’s something to do with our dove.” But inside my belly is a mass of knots. Especially when a couple of the boys in blue walk out of the building with a sobbing Alexia.

“Oh, what the hell?” I moan.

But I sit back in my seat and pick up my phone, calling her office and not surprised in the slightest when it’s diverted to a cell phone. I see Alexia’s head lift as she answers her phone right in front of me.
