I sigh as Seth picks me up, my vision still a little blurry and my head sore as hell.
He nods at Marco. “You got this?”
He grins. “I so have this. Me and the boys will take this guy and Daniels for a ride.”
Seth grunts and carries me out. He slips me in the seat and Cannon turns around and grins at me. “It’s good to see you, ma’am. You’re looking good.”
I lift a brow over my watering eyes. “I can’t even fathom why you would think that. I look like I’ve been in a fist fight.”
“I like a spirited woman.”
I toss my head back and laugh, wincing at the pain. “I don’t know if I’m spirited or not. But thank you.”
“Can you get us to the ER, Cannon?”
“What?!”I whip around and groan at my headache. “I don’t need to go to the hospital.”
“You do and you are.”
Cannon nods his head and Seth closes the barrier again. “Now. You sit back and relax. A couple of minutes and we’ll have you all checked out and take you home.”
“Back to my place?”
“Nope. You’re coming home with us. I’m never going through this again. I want to know where you are every damn second of the day. One of our drivers will take you back and forth to work and the rest of the time we’ll make sure that you’re safe. The house is always crawling with men so there’s no way in hell anything else will happen to you.”
“The guy who took me was with you,” I huff out.
“Yep. And after my brothers get done with him, no man will ever cross us again with you.”
“You sound crazy.”
He grins and strokes my cheek lightly. “Crazy about you.”
“You guys are corny.”
“Also only for you.”
The car pulls up in front of the hospital. “I don’t need checked out,” I mutter under my breath as Cannon gets out and opens the door, holding out his hand which makes Seth snarl at him. He just grins and laughs.
I hold out my hand and an orderly comes running with a wheelchair. I sigh and let myself be pushed into it. “Fine. But I’m doing this under duress.”
“Don’t care, baby.”
It’s hours later and I’m lying in the bed at the hospital, groaning. “Really? I don’t need observation.”
“The doc said that you might have a slight concussion and whiplash. He just wants to keep an eye on you. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
“I don’t need it. I just want to go home.”
“Our home. And now that you’re staying here tonight, Bruno and Marco are getting your stuff from your place.”
I jerk upright. “Are you crazy? I didn’t say I was moving in with you guys.”
“Too bad. You don’t have a choice.”
I sit up and point a finger at him. “I don’t like being pushed around, Seth.”
“I know.” He sighs and pushes his fingers in his silky hair. “I’m sorry, sweetheart but we need you with us. I can’t stand to be away from you anymore. I need you. We all need you. None of us would survive if we lost you.”
