"We need to find—" he started to say.

A hand grabbed hold of my arm.. Without thinking, I let go of Parker and swung the dildo. I connected with something hard. The dildo striking with a thud.

"Fuck!" Hunter cried out. "Ouch."

"Shit, I'm sorry." I dropped the dildo to my side and searched around in the dark for Hunter.

He grunted. "What the hell did you hit me with? Wait, never mind. I don't think I want to know."

Parker chuckled. "What the hell is going on, bro?"

"No idea. Slade, where are you?" Hunter asked.

"Right behind you," Slade said softly. "I suggest you keep your voice down. Otherwise you might as well turn your phone on and announce your presence to everyone."

"Good idea," Hunter whispered. "Any idea which way Chloe and Dane went?

"I wasn't really keeping track," Slade admitted. "As soon as the lights went out, I headed in the direction I saw Lila last."

"Same dude, same," Hunter replied. "Lila doesn't like dark spaces. We need to get her out of here."

"That was what I was trying to do," Parker said. "I could use a weapon right now."

"I might have grabbed both of the tequila bottles," Slade said. "I can share."

"Perfect," Parker whispered. "If we get stuck in here, at least we can get shitfaced.”

"Let's not get stuck in here." I was almost at the point where I'd prefer to give away our location than be in the dark any longer.

I shoved the thoughts away. I couldn't give into fear and paranoia. Whatever was going on, the darkness might ultimately prove to be our friend.

"The door is roughly that way," Hunter said. "We'll make our way over and see what happens from there."

"Bro, if you're pointing, we can't see you," Parker said.

"Oh, right. Everyone hold hands or some shit."

One of them gripped my left hand and another my right wrist.

"I hope that's Lila and not someone else," Parker said jokingly. His tone was light but his nerves were showing, even in the dark.

"It's me," I told him.

"Perfect." His hand slid down my wrist and felt around for what I was carrying. "Is that—"

"Yes," I said. "Yes it is. I would have grabbed a paddle or a flogger, but this was closer."

"At least it's not still warm," he said with a chuckle. He moved his hand back to my wrist and hung on carefully.

"It's fucking hard is what it is," Hunter said.

"I think that's the point," Slade said.

"Yeah, but you're not supposed to hit people over the head with it. Anyway, let's go. We'll go slowly. The last thing we want is to fall over furniture."

"Especially when Lila is carrying a hard dildo," Parker said. "That thing could put out someone's eye."

"You could console yourself with a bottle of tequila if that happens," Hunter told him.
