Nala took several steps away from him and turned to face him.“Like what?”

He started to unbutton his shirt.“Sometimes bad things happen.But if you do what I tell you, you’ll be fine.”

“Like what?”

“If I tell you to stay in our room, you do it.I’ll have a reason.I don’t want you to worry because we have an excellent security system and crew.We are always surrounded.”

“Doesn’t that bother you?”she asked.

He shook his head.“No.I grew up like this.Do you think you’ll be able to handle it?”

“I’m not sure.I think having Sara here helps.”

Drew nodded.“It will.”

“What if I need you during the day?”she asked.

“If I’m in my office with the door shut, you wait unless it’s an emergency.I always have my phone on me, but I will turn it off in different situations.”

“Okay.”

He pulled his shirt off and had to bite his lip at the way her eyes ate him up.It wouldn’t be much longer before she was under him.Until then, he had to suffer.

Chapter Fifteen

The saliva dried up in her mouth as her eyes skimmed over his muscular physique.When he had his shirt on, it was hidden to some extent.When it was off, she was able to see every dip and ridge on it.There was a spattering of hair in the middle of his chest, but otherwise, that was it.

“Do you want to take a shower first?”Drew asked.He grinned.“Or we can take one together.”

Nala pressed down on her abdomen, where a ball of desire spread.Just the sound of his deep male voice made her body heat.When he stood in front of her half-naked, it made her cunt spasm, and her cream seeped out, wetting her thighs.She couldn’t imagine what she’d feel when he was without a stitch of clothing on.She started to nod her head but stopped suddenly and shook her head.“No!I mean, no, I’ll go first.”

Drew smirked but didn’t push her.“There are a few nightgowns on the counter.Don’t get used to wearing one because I’ll forbid it after you give me your whole self.”

She swallowed and nodded.Without another word, she walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her.Drew’s voice came through the wood.

“That’s something else that won’t happen.There will never be a closed door between us.”

Oh, God.The thought of going around him naked made her slightly nauseous.What if he saw what Clayton did to mark her body?If he looked at her with revulsion in his expression, it would kill something inside of her.

She pulled up her hair and tied it into a bun before stepping into the shower.She didn’t take the time to relax and enjoy it but got herself washed and then out.She dried off and smoothed lotion over her body before reaching for a nightgown.

The first one she held up was mostly lace.Did he know what the gowns looked like, or was he the one who picked them out?She set that one down and unfolded the second one.It was just as bad as the first.How in the world was she going to walk into the room and stand in front of him with one of these on?

Nala chose the one that had more fabric and pulled it on.“Oh, for God’s sake,” she murmured.She could see her nipples through it.With them being hard, it looked like they would poke through.

“Hey!”Drew called out.“Are you about done?”

“Yes.”She quickly brushed her teeth.She straightened the gown and wrapped an arm around herself to partially hide behind before she opened the door.

He was looking at his phone but turned when the door opened.She caught the heat of desire in his eyes and swallowed.

“Jesus, you are beautiful.”

Nala could feel herself blush.“Did you pick these out?”

“Yes.Do you like them?”he asked.

“I … oh, well.Um, yes.It’s just that it doesn’t hide anything.”
