His cousins waved as they left.

He turned to the man.“Now, let’s have some fun.Shall we?”

For the next few hours, they did things to Clayton that he’d dreamed of since he got the information out of Nala. His men had to wake the bastard up a few times when he passed out.

He didn’t want to do too much to him that night. He wanted the man to think about what was going to happen to him, just like Nala had done when she had been with him for years. He wanted him to feel the hunger she did from being starved.

“Let him sleep.I’ll be back tomorrow,” Drew said.“You guys good with staying?”

They all nodded.

“It will only take a few of you.Why don’t the stooges head home.I’ll call in the morning.”

His men laughed. His three friends followed him out and walked to the truck.

“How’s Nala doing?”Manny asked.

“She’s relieved.”

“I bet.”

“Night, guys.”

They waved and drove off.Drew was right behind them on the road, but he turned the opposite way than they did and headed home.He felt an urgency to get back to Nala, and he had a sick feeling he wasn’t going to like it.

He was pulling up to the house when his phone rang.“Hello,” he said on his way up the stairs and to his room.

“Sir, this is Jones.Miss Nala has packed a bag and is outside trying to find a ride.”

Drew felt like his head would blow. She really thought she could get away from him.

“I’ll take care of it.”

“Very good, sir,” Jones said and hung up.

Drew stuck his phone in his pocket and turned to go back outside. He wondered what she would do when she realized his men would never give her a ride.He got his answer when one of his men pointed at the gates.

Drew nodded and headed that way.At the road, he looked both ways.He saw her about a mile away, walking down the street.Behind her were a few of his men protecting her until he got there.

Drew turned to the first guy he saw.“Get a car, pick me up, and then follow her.I’ll want you to take us back to the house once I catch her.”

“You got it, Boss.”

They pulled out of the driveway and headed toward the runaway woman.

“It looks like she’s trying to run with the heavy suitcase on wheels behind her,” his man said.

Drew nodded. He saw how hard she was trying to get away from him, and it pissed him off even more.

“Stop here,” Drew said when they were a few feet from her.He got out.“You guys go back, and thank you for watching over her.”

The men waved and headed home.

Drew walked to her.It didn’t take him long since she was already tired, and the suitcase had to be heavy. He grabbed onto her arm, making her scream. She didn’t relax when she saw it was him instead of a bad guy.

He started dragging her back to the car.“Get her bag.”

The guard did what he asked and then waited until he had Nala and himself in the back seat. The guy turned around and headed home.
