“Oh, what is that?”

“Beth.”

Drew stiffened.“That’s not possible.”No way.Alastair has his men keep a close eye on her.

Clayton shrugged.“You’ll find out.”

Drew pulled his phone out.

“Yes,” Alastair answered.

“Do you know where Beth is?”Drew asked.

“Yes.In the backyard.Why?”

“I have a man here who says he has her, and he’ll trade her for my Nala.”

“Hold on.”

Drew waited for Alastair. He had a sick feeling the man was telling the truth because of how smug he was.

“I’m coming there,” Alastair said.

Drew almost shuddered at the cold, menacing tone of his cousin’s voice.

“Beth’s husband is on his way,” Drew said and stuck his phone back in his pocket.

“Good.I’d like to meet the man that delightful woman belongs to.”

Drew wasn’t surprised when he heard a car screech to a stop outside.

“He’s here now.”

The door slammed open, and Alastair strode in.His gaze went from Drew to Clayton.

“You’re the man that says you have my Beth,” Alastair said.

Drew was pleased to see a spark of fear in the man’s eyes.

“Well, yes. She’s not being harmed,” Clayton said.

Alastair walked to him, picked him up by his neck, and slammed him against the wall several times. The man was starting to turn blue when Alastair released him.The man dropped to the floor and clutched his throat.

“You can’t hurt me, or my men will kill Beth.Oh, but after they take turns with her, of course.”

Drew shook his head. The man was a fucking idiot.

“Tell me how you got her?”Alastair asked.

“She heard a kitten cry behind one of the sheds. One of my men was there when she came around the corner. He grabbed her and went back through the hole in the fence we cut.”

“If I see one bruise on her body, I will make you hurt worse than you ever thought you could,” Alastair said.

“I’ll be gone by then.Just give me my pet, and I’ll leave. My men will drop off your woman at a gas station close to where we’re keeping her.”

Alastair shook his head.“No.”

Clayton struggled to his feet.“One word from me to my men, they’ll tell the others, and she will be the one in pain.I have to call them when I leave here.If I don’t in the next thirty minutes, they’ll take care of her.”
