“I think they would love that!” He kissed her wrist. “Thank you for remembering them.”
“Hey, they’re important to you, which means they’re important to me too. I’m so excited to get to know all of them better. Aaryan is too serious. But Vihaan, Avi, and I are going to be a riot together. They seem as wild as I am.”
Rajiv chuckled. He shifted a strand of hair from her head. He just didn’t want to ever stop touching her. “Yeah, I can’t wait to see you all together.”
He was so delighted that she was on the same page with him. Her concern for his closest friends and ensuring they were a part of their celebrations meant the world to him.
“I love you so much, you know,” he told her.
“Alright then, prove it.” She arched a pointed brow.
There she was, challenging him again. Happiness spread through him. He grabbed her in his arms and toppled her on the bed, swooping down to kiss her. The world could wait for a few minutes more. First, he wanted to lose himself in her again.

Sheena checked the time. Happiness was bursting inside her. She could no longer wait to tell the whole world that Rajiv was hers and she was his. And now, finally, in a few minutes, she’d finally be able to do that. It was a Friday. Keya and Raashi were finally back in town, and Raashi was coming to fetch her right now. She was going to meet her friends and tell them everything, and tonight, once Kabier returned from work, hopefully, she’d get a chance to talk to him as well.
Her grandfather had informed her that all their meetings had concluded. Kabier was now the new MD of Sehgal Group. She was delighted for her brother, and she knew he’d lead the company to bigger heights. Last night, Rajiv and she had finally informed her mother and grandfather about their engagement, and they both were so happy for them. She’d requested them to keep this news to themselves until after she spoke to Kabier.
A loud horn jolted her out of her thoughts. Raashi stopped her car in front of her and climbed out.
“Raashi!” Sheena squealed in happiness. She hugged her friend hard. God, it felt so good to meet her.
“Finally, I get to meet you,” Raashi said. “I missed you so much, you know. It’s hard not having you in Mumbai. Keya and I both feel your absence. It’s not the same without you.”
“I know,” Sheena said. “I’ve missed you both so much.”
“We have so much to talk about. I want to hear everything about you, how you fell in love, everything,” Raashi said. “Talking on the phone is not enough. I want to hear it all again and ask questions. I want to meet him. Keya will want that, too.”
Sheena laughed. “Okay. But where’s Keya? She messaged that she’d landed last night. I have something to tell you, but I need you both to be together.”
They climbed into Raashi’s car.
“What do you want to tell us?” Raashi asked.
“Let’s call Keya and check where she is,” Sheena deflected
“I want to make a guess,” Raashi teased. “Can I?”
Sheena shook her head. “Wait, I’m calling Keya first.”
Her friend answered on the first ring.
“Hello,” Keya said.
Sheena grinned. “Keya, sweetie, where have you been?”
“Sheena, how are you? I just returned from Vienna last night, and today was this big management meeting. Now I’m at this business dinner.”
“Hey, my big brother must have been there?” Sheena asked.
“Oh yeah! And I was quite shocked to see him!”
“Yeah, I can imagine. It’s been years since you met him. Anyway, where are you now?”
“I’m at The Sehgal Plaza.”
It wasn’t that far from her home.
