“Yeah?” Colin said as he stopped and turned to look at him.

“Promise me you’ll take good care of her.”

“You don’t have to worry about that. I promise.” Colin smiled as he hooked his arm around me, and we walked away.

One Month Later

Colin

Her body was wrapped around mine as we lay in bed. My lips pressed against the top of her head as it rested on my chest. This was my happy place, and I wanted us to stay this way forever.

“I love you, Adalyn,” I softly spoke.

“I love you too, Colin.” She smiled as she lifted her head and stared at me. “Move in with me.”

“What?” I cocked my head.

“Move in with me.”

“I should be the one asking you that.” The corners of my mouth curved upward.

“Well, I love you, and I love this boat, but I’m not living on it. If you were to ask me to move in with you, that would suggest you would want me to move in here.”

I chuckled. “Adalyn, will you move in with me? Not here, but at your house? I want us to live together, but the Betty Lou isn’t big enough for us and all your things.” I smirked.

“You bet I’ll move in with you at my house.” A beautiful grin crossed her lips. “Can you handle the drive to the bar instead of walking a couple of steps?”

“I think I’ll manage.” I smiled.

“Good. Because I want nothing more than to have all of your things at our house.”

“Our house, eh?” I leaned down and kissed her lips.

“Yes. Our house.” She smiled.

“When are you thinking?” I ran my thumb over her lips.

She sat up and held the sheet over her beautiful, naked body.

“Right now.” She grinned.

“Now?” I chuckled.

“Yep. Come on.” She climbed out of bed, grabbed her dress from the floor, and slipped it on. “Where’s your suitcase?”

“I have a small one in that closet over there.” I pointed.

“What are you waiting for?” She cocked her head. “Let’s get your essentials packed and go home. We can pack the rest of your things this weekend.”

“You’re crazy.” I grinned.

“Crazy in love with you.” She smiled as she leaned over the bed and kissed my lips.
