“Awe!” all three sighed in relief.

“This is awesome,” Evie declared.

“Refreshing,” Callie added.

“What my poor feet needed,” added Baylor.

“So, what’s next?” asked Evie.

“Since they took away the main attraction,” Callie laughed. “I’m guessing we’ll eventually be shown where we’ll be sleeping.”

“Will all nineteen of us be sleeping here?” Evie asked.

“Will The Host be sleeping here?” interjected Baylor.

“I highly doubt that. No fraternizing… at least this early on,” winked Callie.

“I’d hope not!” Evie said with an incredulous sound in her voice.

“Who do you think would try to bed him tonight if she could get away with it?” Callie asked as she slyly looked back into the house as if to eye which of the women would actually do the deed.

Evie gasped.

“Oh,” Callie responded to Evie’s gasp. “I hope I didn’t offend you.”

It had been some time since Evie had been around others who were not of her faith. High school was probably the last time she had been surrounded solely by others outside of her faith because her family were the only members of the church that attended her high school. After high school, she attended BYU for both her bachelor's and her veterinarian degree.

Once she obtained her veterinary license, her roommates were also of her faith so conversations that went immediately to sex never happened in her life.

“Oh,” Evie blushed. “I’m not offended, but I don’t feel comfortable talking about who is going to bed whom.”

“Are you religious?” Baylor asked.

Evie nodded.

“Me, too!” Baylor leaned in and gave her a comforting nudge.

“I’ll change the topic,” Callie stated. “But before I do, I’ll have to say for all of us to watch out for that one!”

Baylor and Evie both turned in the direction of where Callie was looking. Evie recognized her at once as the woman in the airport and the woman who got out of the limo before she did.

“That’s Neveah!” Baylor whispered.

“Miss Avery,” Evie divulged.

“How do you know her last name?” Callie asked.

“I saw her at the airport this morning.”

“How was she?” Callie asked.

Evie sighed. She never was one to gossip and she didn’t want to start now.

“No need to expand. I read your face loud and clear. She’s a witch… isn’t she?”

Evie’s eyes widened in surprise.

“I figured you didn’t swear either, so I’m doing my best to keep things PG… well, PG-13,” Callie laughed. “Anyways, I’m a helicopter medic. I’m trained to read people’s facial expressions.”
