Mateo stared at me with his eyes looking like liquid pools of amber filled with desire, and I could see that he was tempted until he looked away from me, shaking his head.

“No, we’re still trying to get into their good graces.Doing this would mean our words can’t even be trusted.Your dad, Aisling, still doesn’t even respond to or speak to me or Mateo.”Caden said, his fingers slowing in their movement.

“Aurora, he’s right.We don’t have to have sex.We can just help you with our fingers,” Mateo said, his hand moving slowly down my spine through the open back of my hospital gown.

I refused to be distracted even as another shiver of desire had me squirming and thus reawakened Caden’s awareness of his fingers in between my legs.“Yeah, but then you guys ...”

“It’s fine.When you’re back to Crawford, we can do whatever we want ...assuming your parents don’t make us promise something else,” Caden said.

When his fingers started moving again, I grabbed his wrist and shivered as I pulled his fingers out of me.

We had serious matters to discuss and if he moved those fingers the right way, I would lose my mind to lust and then have to watch him and Mateo go into the bathroom after my bones had turned to mush.

“How about I...?”I asked, making a gesture that they understood immediately.

But Caden covered his crotch with his free hand immediately.“No way.The last time you bit me.”

“Hey, I’m a total beginner.How about you teach me how to do it?”I asked with a pout.

“How do we know how to do that?Although it looks like we’ve been with many girls because of the rumors, that’s all wrong.We’ve only been with a couple of girls and it didn’t last very long,” Mateo said, pushing a finger into a spot beside my mouth and cheeks where he claimed there was an adorable dimple, but there wasn’t any.

“Well, you guys have ...you know.”I gestured to both of them.

“No way.We’ve never gone that far.The highest we’ve done is jerk each other off or rub on each other.”Caden said.

“Caden!”Mateo admonished.

“What?!We said we’d tell her the truth.”Caden retorted back before smirking at me.“So contrary to what you think, we haven’t been with each other that way.And we’ll probably never be with each other that way.”

“But I thought you two ...that night?”I couldn’t help stammering, surprised at how open they were being with me about their relationship, which I’d thought was something else entirely.

“We just like to share,” Mateo said, interrupting my train of thought.

Caden’s voice dropped to a whisper.“If we’d had the chance, we might have tried other things when we started developing feelings for each other, but my dad caught onto us early and made sure we slept in separate rooms.Back then, he probably just didn’t want us rushing into anything so young because he’d removed those restrictions by the time we were eighteen.But by that time, we were teenagers and we could get girls to be with us.None of us wanted to be the bottom, and it just seemed much more pleasurable to share.”

I looked at Mateo, who was nodding like a hen pecking at rice.

If this conversation had started because we wanted to have sex but couldn’t, it’d progressed to satisfying my curiosity while the simmering heat of desire I’d been feeling before had all but disappeared.

“Would you guys like to try it in the future?”I asked in a whisper, leaning closer so our heads formed a weird circle.

“No!”They both answered in a louder-than-a-whisper voice.

I glared at them as Mateo, scratching the back of his head awkwardly while avoiding my eyes, said.“We talked about it and watched videos, but none of us wanted to be the bottom.We’ve tried to explore using toys, but we can never get it to be pleasurable.It’s painful and ...uncomfortable, and it made us take an entire year’s break from each other because Caden wanted me to be the bottom after trying once and hating it.But I tried it several times, and it’s never pleasurable.It’s not as easy or comfortable as those videos make it seem.It doesn’t just hurt, it’s also very uncomfortable and the one time we tried it together, I just felt embarrassed and humiliated.”

I moved closer to him, wrapping my arm around his neck and then kissing him in consolation.

“I’m sorry.I didn’t realize you tried so many times and still hated it.”Caden said after we stopped kissing.

I turned toward him, dragging him into our embrace.

“It’s okay,” Mateo said, dropping a kiss on Caden’s lips.“I guess we were never meant to be together that way, anyway.Even jerking each other off never felt as great as being with a girl together.We kept trying because we couldn’t find a girl who wasn’t trying to get between us.They either had big ambitions or liked one of us better.But now we have Aurora and, thanks to the Moon Goddess, she’s our true mate.”

I leaned forward to kiss them both.“Well, I love you both and I will never try to get between you.”

“We love you too.”They echoed, pressing a kiss to both sides of my cheeks.

After that heart-to-heart talk, we lay back on the twin hospital bed, sharing simple leisurely kisses without any heat before we went to bed intertwined, with Caden spooning Mateo and Mateo spooning me.
