Seth reproached him with a smile, "You're too hard on yourself." He placed Butter on Theo's lap. "Show her some love."

That made Theo think that he would rather get his hands on Seth and show him some... He stopped at the next word, stopped himself from making any moves.

Why couldn't he just keep things easy between them, get each other off, not worry about any deeper feelings? But it was like he already crossed some kind of line and got too close to Seth without even realizing.
