She looks between us and gasps. “It looks like a crime scene.”
I cock my head and smile. “Damn right it does. Now, spread your legs.”
“I should clean it–”
“Leave it,” I growl, glaring down at her. Knocking her knees apart, I tease the head of my cock against her entrance. “Like I said before, a little blood doesn’t scare me. And now I want it all on my cock.”
CHAPTERTWENTY-EIGHT
Harlow
After Gideon fucks me–twice,I might add–we lazily make our way to Theo’s room to sleep. He quickly cleans me up and I fall asleep to the beat of his heart as he hugs me close to his chest. When I wake up a few hours later, he’s still fully asleep–facing me on the other side of the bed. I reach over and brush a piece of dark blonde hair from his forehead. His hand shoots out and grabs my wrist instinctively.
“Morning,” he says, his voice deep and rumbling.
“Morning.”
I roll over and walk to the bathroom, looking over my shoulder as I go. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I pull Theo’s robe around myself and head back into the bedroom. Gideon is still there, as are Alaric, Sterling, and Theo.
“Well, well, well,” Theo drawls. “Did you guys fuck in my bed?”
I give him a simpering smile as I shake my head. “No. Just the couch in the library.”
“Sorry about the mess,” Gideon adds, giving them a cocky smile as he places his hands behind his head. The covers are over his lap, but he’s shirtless. His muscles contract and ripple with every movement as his blue eyes find mine.
My cheeks flame.God, I’d forgotten the mess.Blood and… bodily fluids. Gideon said they’d take care of it. But still, I somehow feel shameful about my period.
“Yeah, sorry, there was a lot of blood.”
Alaric walks forward. He’s wearing a white t-shirt and black sweatpants that cling to his narrow hips. His eye looks better today–not swollen anymore, but still black and blue. My stomach does a somersault at the sight. He looks like even more of a badass now.
He saved your life.
“Are you on your period?” he asks, eyeing me up and down as he stalks even closer.
I nod, swallowing. “Yep. Blood. Everywhere.”
He chuckles. “That’s cute.”
“What is?”
“That you think a little blood is going to scare us off when we kill people for a living.”
I open and close my mouth. “I–it was–”
He steps right in front of me and places a finger over my lips. “You don’t need to be ashamed of it.”
I shake my head. “I’m not.”
He tilts his head and looks at me, a dark curl falling over his forehead as he rolls his bottom lip between his teeth.
“Are you sure? Because you deleted your period tracking app once we mentioned we had access to it.”
My mouth twitches. “Yeah, well, it’sweirdthat you can access that.”
He reaches out and grips my chin gently between two fingers. “Why? We have access to every other aspect of your life. Why not this one?”
My cheeks redden even further. “I don’t know.”
