Her breaths came out in short uneven puffs. Her lips tingled, and goosebumps broke out over her skin.
“Samantha Roy,” he whispered wickedly.“Agree to the deal. Let’s fuck each other’s brains out until we get rid of this hunger.”
His deep, sinful voice tempted her, and his presence drove her crazy. Angry and aroused, she grabbed his hair and tugged his head closer before kissing him hard.
He let out a groan, and his hand went to the back of her head and tugged her hair so his tongue could slide deep into her mouth. A moan escaped her throat when his taste filled her senses and shot into her bloodstream like a drug. Her body buzzed and came alive instantly.
The hunger grew fiercer, and she craved to feel his hot skin rubbing against hers again. Leaving his hair, her hands slid down and went under his basketball jersey. He was slightly damp and sweaty from the practice. She dug her nails into his hard chest.
He groaned once again and his kiss became ferocious. His other hand wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer until his hard arousal rubbed against her stomach. She gasped as hot sparks shot from her core, raising her need to a fever pitch.
Letting out a frustrated moan, she raised her hips to rub against his arousal, the friction bringing her closer to climax. Her hand slid lower, intending to push down his basketball shorts so she could direct his arousal to where she wanted. But his calloused hand gripped her wrist, stopping her.
“Fuck,” he breathed against her lips. “We can’t do this here, Sam. We’ll be caught and suspended. There are cameras.”
Her heart thudded like a drum, and she slowly blinked, realizing where they were. She was in the campus library, with her hand almost into her enemy’s basketball shorts.
Oh God.
She snatched both her hands away from her enemy’s body.
“Get away from me,” she said, anger and embarrassment gripping her.
Her body was buzzing with pent-up desire, but she had to get away from him. When he didn’t move, she placed her palms against his hard chest and pushed.
“Get away!” she nearly yelled. The arousal in her body didn’t die down. She feared she might grab him again.
Her enemy looked like he was in pain. “Dammit, Sam. Give me a fucking minute. I am hard as hell and am wearing my basketball shorts. Every fucker would know what we were just up to.”
Her face was on fire. “It’s your fault!” she snapped.
He raised his eyebrow. “It’s my fault that your lips smashed against mine and your hands crept under my shirt and then into my shorts?”
Oh God!
“I… I… I hate you!” It was lame, but she couldn’t come up with anything else to say.
She shoved hard at his chest once again, and this time, he moved a step away from her. She ran down the aisle and kept going. Her laptop was still on the library desk, but she didn’t care. She just had to escape.
Her heart thudded, and her body was still on fire as she ran out of the library and into the cold air of the night. The last few moments and the moments from the night she spent with him ran through her mind like a dirty movie.
By the time she reached her housing unit and then her apartment, she was panting hard. Shedding her clothes, she stepped into her shower and turned it on the cold setting while her enemy’s wicked words reverberated in her mind.
“I feel it too,” he said huskily. “The hunger. The wild, uncontrollable need. The only way to get rid of this hunger is to feed it until it is sated.”
“Samantha Roy,” he whispered wickedly. “Agree to the deal. Let’s fuck each other’s brains out until we get rid of this hunger.”
She had not only been close to agreeing to her enemy’s deal, but she was also about to begin their affair in the library.
She sucked in a harsh breath. The cold water didn’t help cool her overheated body, and every cell inside her body begged for her enemy's touch.
As freezing water fell over her, she made a decision.
CHAPTER 33
Ved gritted his teeth as he pulled himself together. When Samantha had run from him like the devil was chasing her, it had taken everything inside him to control his instinct and chase after her and drag her back.
His phone rang. It was his cousin.
