“No,” Abhi replied. “I don’t think he’ll be for a while.”

Ved knew his other cousin was also floating in the cloud of love like Abhi. Although he was happy for them both, he also hoped things between him and Samantha would get to that stage where he could openly declare their relationship. But his hot-and-cold-tempered girlfriend was still quite prickly about their relationship and wanted it to remain a secret.

“Alright. I guess I’ll see you when I see you.”

He knew he would rarely stay at his housing unit except to sometimes shower and grab some extra clothes. He grinned, imagining Samantha’s expression when she sees his clothes hung in her closet.

CHAPTER 43

Her enemy literally made himself at home in her bedroom. Some of his basketball jerseys along with his uniform and other clothes hung in her closet.

When she demanded an explanation, the jerk just grinned, flashing his damn dimples.

“But it’s such a waste of time for me to go to my room just to shower and change before coming here.”

He thought he was being smart by slowly encroaching on her space and making her think it was normal. She had glared at him for every personal item of his that took over her closet, bathroom and even her bedroom. Apart from using his dimples as a distraction technique, he even used his kisses, which worked way too effectively.

Hot, mind-numbing kisses melted away thoughts of keeping him at a distance, especially from her heart.

Her roommate found out about them too. It was inevitable, especially when her enemy broke her rules of staying inside her bedroom by often strutting out to grab some water or heat up food.

Anita was beyond ecstatic.“I knew you’d be together some day! I’m so happy for you two!”

Samantha didn’t want to break her roommate’s romantic bubble. Days continued to pass by in a whirlwind of passion. Even though she was floating in excitement and happiness, there was also a sense of dread lurking in the corner that her happiness could end anytime.

But being with her enemy made her somewhat like him. She enjoyed the moment and decided to tackle things as they came.

Her phone vibrated loudly, and she saw a message pop up.

V.Simha: You look hot as fuck. I’m going to eat you tonight for dinner.

Samantha’s cheeks heated while reading her phone message. Putting on a blank expression, she looked up.

She was seated in the cafeteria with Rishi as usual. The place was filled with students with several loud conversations. But one particular table was quite rowdy as expected. It was the table where her enemy was seated with his cousins and friends and also a couple of girls who were Abhiram Simha and Rana Simha’s girlfriends.

Her enemy was watching her with a grin. But she deliberately kept her eyes away from him. Everyone still thought that Ved Simha and she didn’t get along.

Her phone buzzed again.

V.Simha: I would grade our shower sex this morning as A+. You were loud enough to be heard in the dean’s office. What do you think?

She wanted to punch the jerk even as her face heated harder. But her enemy was relentless.

V.Simha: If I come to your table right now and slide a finger inside you, how wet will I find you?

Oh God.

The place between her legs began to throb. Unable to control herself, she looked up and glared at him.

The bastard looked amused.

Just when she was about to look away again, she caught the eye of Avantika Patel seated at the table next to Abhiram Simha. Avantika looked at her with a concerned frown.

Dragging her eyes away, she focused on her meal once again.

“Can you believe that they almost broke up?” Rishi whispered.

Rishi was looking at the Simha’s table.
