“A few things, like the no full nudity out here. Take your family, which I still can’t believe, would they pay more to see the ladies?’

“Of course, I believe all of the times I got dragged along, they had rented out the whole damn club. But that alone wouldn’t make you stand out,” she told him.

“The rotation of ladies,” Enzo piped up and Val lifted a brow. “Since the club would be in a connection with mine the ladies that work here would be going there as well, that way there are new faces, unless you come back all the time.” Val thought that over, having to admit that something like that would cause quite a stir.

“Though that would catch quite a few eyes, you still need a bit more,” she told them.

“The club will be owned by a woman,” Vinny said, resting his arm along the back of her chair and she glared at him.

“What female would own a strip club? Not that it wouldn’t bring in the crowd.”

“You,inamorato(sweetheart),” he said and she just blinked at him. He took her left hand and kissed the diamond on her ring finger. “As the future Mrs. Giovanni Constanini here, you will already have quite some clout, but adding your name to this, oh yeah, many would come to see and to enjoy.” She leaned against him as his fingers brushed over her shoulder.

“I’m going to own a club?”

“We thought it would be a profitable deal in many ways. You see, I heard that you might be able to negotiate some deals in the way of liquor,” Enzo said and Val laughed.

“You want me to bring my dad in on this?”

“No, I want you to bring Joey,” Vinny said, his fingers now moving to the back of her neck and she shivered from the light touches. She was also trying to ignore the things it was doing to her.

“Okay, before we get to that part, which I like by the way, we need to talk truths, we need to talk money.”

“What are you asking?” Enzo asked, looking at her.

“What’s your monthly profit and your monthly output, paying of dancers included?”

“Give me just a moment and I will get you the stats you want.” Enzo stood up and Vixen followed him as he left, leaving Val and Vinny alone.

“You think it won’t work?” Val shifted so that she was pressing against him, although she couldn’t figure out why all of a sudden she felt the urge to be touching him so.

“I think it can actually and on top of that, has the means to be quite profitable, if handled correctly. But you don’t need anyone in New York to help you, so what are they pushing?”

“Drugs actually, and guns, but that’s very low-key. Mainly it’s drugs. We need a new supplier as we have come to believe some of our stuff has been tainted and I know their stuff is clean.”

“Almost like a whole underground train in a way; a good way to transport. I’m guessing since you are talking about rotations, the shipments would be with the ladies?”

“I like her mind,” Enzo said as he walked back to the table and handed her the folder. “In there, bella, you will find all the info you are looking for.” She flipped it open, her eyes skimming over the numbers on the page. She looked up at him and then at Vinny and finally around, noticing that Vixen wasn’t there. “She’s a pretty thing to have on the arm and someone to entertain Vinny but I refuse to talk business in front of her.”

“All beauty and no brains?”

“Oh, she is smart where it counts, don’t underestimate her,” Vinny said as he took a drink, “but in this file and about these things, no she has nothing of value to offer.” Val ran her fingers over the file in front of her, letting those words roll through her mind. Oh, she knew what he meant, but what she couldn’t help but wonder was if he wanted her to become like that. Not that she thought he’d did, for it seemed that he really valued her mind. “Everything okay?” She blinked and then offered both Vinny and Enzo a smile.

“Yes, just lost in my thoughts for the moment. Back to these numbers,” she said, glancing back at the numbers on the papers, “in a month you made 300k with an output of 127k, that’s a 56 percent monthly profit.” She closed the file and Enzo lifted his brows.

“Quick calculations.”

“Numbers are my thing. I do a lot with them, but I have a few other questions before I get back to this. What’s your take on all illegal profits?”

“60 percent,” Enzo answered smoothly.

“50,” she countered and both men shot a glance at her.

“What?” Why? I’m shipping them to you and…”

“Some, but not all, not if you want a deal with my liquor. But that’s not even what I’m getting into. The building license and land will be on our dime, right Vinny?” Vinny nodded slightly before sharing a glance with Enzo.

“Yes, as far as I’m aware. However, since it’s a joint deal, Enzo will be supplying the funds for the building.”
