Monsters. Mayhem. One massive headache.
Ugh!
Things have really taken a complicated turn. It’s all too much of a distraction from my main purpose in life—saving my brother from a terrible fate. But no matter how much I want to bury my head in the sand, I must face up to this deadly, seductive power inside of me.
Damn. I feel like I’m losing my mind.
But maybe I don’t have to. Maybe I can find a balance to make this work in my favour.

At least I have Asher, my gargoyle bodyguard, by my side. He’s the biggest comfort blanket ever, and the object of all my affections. He makes my head spin in the good way, his touch full of intoxicating desire.
