Stolen By The Beast

My only memory before him is a nightmare.
Hands pin me down as I’m encircled by a group of men. Their faces are a blur, but I know their intent. Squeezing my eyes shut, I know what’s to come, but it never does because of him.

My savior.
My protector.
My monster.

Humans are nothing but food until her.
It’s a delicacy that doesn’t often come my way, but tonight, the blaze of countless campfires dots the dark forest. Only a fool would pass up such a feast, but then I hear her cries of fear. She looks at me with such trust shining in her gaze.

Like I’m something special.
Like she cares for me.
Like I’m not a monster.
