It was one tiny murder. Barely even counts.
So I killed someone. In my defense, he was awful. And I didn’t exactly premeditate his demise.
I’m a reluctantly celibate, unhappily divorced, small business owner on the fast track to forty-ish, with teen twins heading into summer break, an overflowing to-do list, and a body hanging out in my garage.
In other words, things are just fine…until my ex-husband rolls back into town.
He’s still so hot just looking at him is a poor decision. He’s the man who broke my heart and—fun fact—taught me everything I know about homicide investigations.

Now he’s looking at me like I’m still his, even as he sniffs around the crime scene. Either I’m about to get away with murder…or I’ll be ruined by the one man I’ve never been able to resist.
