I was bleeding out and halfway to Hell when God sent me an angel.
He had no business sending her to a man like me.
She was sunshine wrapped in pink glitter, with a touch so gentle it hurt.
She was everything I’ve never had nor deserved.
Under the glow of the streetlamp, I was delirious enough to tell her she was beautiful.
Hell, I even laughed when she asked me to tell her again.
But then she asked me something else. Something that stole the last breath from my lungs.
 Can you keep a secret?
 An angel with a sin.
She should have let me die.
