The Huntsman's Heart

Wherever Princess Guinevere strays, the queen’s huntsman is at her heels, snapping like a dog. Alaric was forged into a monster long ago. A lich who tore out his own heart, he is bound to serve Guinevere’s hated step mother, the queen. When her evil step-mother ordered her killed, Princess Guinevere died at the hands of the lich huntsman. But he could not destroy her. Instead he tore out her heart and made her immortal like him.

Now Guinevere is more powerful than any queen. White as snow—a deadly beauty. A wilful creature commanded only by her own desire. Snow White will not bow. Not to fate. Not to the Huntsman. Not stone guardians who rise from their perches to serve her. They will kneel to her instead. Her gargoyles will fight for her, burn for her… and in the shadows, they will surrender to her.

Raban, with his soft features and pretty smiles, Corvin with his sharp eyes and devious mind, and Évandre, the angel gargoyle carved like the essence of sin.
