His mouth makes a home on mine.
Heat floods all over my body, especially in between my thighs.
“Who’s laughing now, huh?” He rasps.
I swallow, my anxiety escalating at an insanely quick rate. My shoulders are tightening. I close my eyes, exhaling a few times in a row.
Back in high school, I remember when Bella told me about her first time.
The first time can hurt. Like fucking hell. But then it gets better.
As if sensing my anxious thoughts, Noah cups my face and gives me a passionate kiss. He pushes me down onto the bed again with him on top of me. He pulls his lips away from mine, staring at me in a way that makes my heart triple in size.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah. I’m just preparing myself. That’s all,” I breathe out.
“If it’s uncomfortable or painful, tell me. Promise?”
I nod, giving him a silent answer that I’m going to be okay.
Somehow, I know I will be. Because I’m with him.
Looking up at the ceiling, I begin to dwell on the fact that I’ve never had sex before. Noah and I have already established this, but I’m so fucking nervous.
My chest is rising and falling really fast.
Calm down, Dani. Just breathe.
He wraps his arms around me and I hug his back, feeling how rock-hard he is against me, so I swallow hard.
I pull my head back down. “I don’t know if you’re going to fit, Noah.”
He looks at me, studying my face. “Is there anything I can do to make sure it doesn’t hurt?”
“Yeah, I’ve used a vibrator before. Just go slow.”
He blinks his eyes, looking around the room before meeting my gaze. “Fuck, don’t say shit like that to me.”
A smile tugs on the corners of my mouth. “Why?”
“I’m going to come and I’m not even inside of you yet.”
A wicked smile grows on my face.
He’s talking dirty to me and making sure I’m taken care of at the same time. Yeah, this man has been reading too many spicy romance books.
“Ready?” He studies me, starting at my face and making his way down to my ankles.
“Yeah, I’m ready.”
He positions himself in between my legs.
I start to breathe like a normal person.
“I’m going to need you to relax for me. It’s going to be okay. I got you.”
I let the tightness in my shoulders roll off my back, loosening up as best as I can.
