Page 11 of Ringo's Silence

While those two girls took after their mother in looks, every fiber of them are Snake times ten. They get into so much mischief that they are currently suspended from school.

Walking through the front door, I notice that all the other guys with families at home have now left for the night. The only ones still there being rowdy are the few of us left that haven’t found anyone we would want to keep around forever.

I’m not against the whole love thing, I’ve just never found the one that could get me to think past a fast fuck in a back room somewhere.

Speaking of...I look over at a couple of the girls that still hang around the club. A couple of them have been with the club a really long time and are considered as a part of us.

Sally, the one they all answer to, sees me looking in their direction and gives me a nod of her head.

She knows what I am asking and will make sure one of them is in my room waiting for me to relieve some of this built up pressure I’ve been feeling since seeing Kimmie in all her glory in the middle of my bathtub.

Closing my eyes for only a moment, I can still see every part of her including those cute little toes she had painted a soft pink.

My body once again goes hard all over so I quickly head over to Snake’s door, knocking loudly.

He answers almost immediately and I walk in to see him typing furiously on the computer in front of him.

His hair looks as though he’s run both hands through it in frustration and he has pencils stuck behind both ears.

“What’s up?” He asks, looking over at me for only a moment, his hands never slowing down on the keyboard.

“Bella’s new employee.”

When I don’t continue, Snake’s hands stop and he turns to me with raised brows. “What about her?” He asks.

“Did...you do a background?” I ask.

“Not yet.” He answers, swiveling back around to his computer.

“Why?” I demand and he once again turns back to me with a serious look.

“What do you mean why? She just walked into the diner earlier today and Bella hired her on the fucking spot. We don’t even have her social security number yet.”

His answer shocks me but only for a moment because we all know how the married women of the club are. They do what ever they fucking want and ask for forgiveness after.

“Bet that went over well.”

“Yeah, no shit. You should have heard Blade going off in here earlier tonight. He apparently didn’t even know until he picked Bella up from work and she introduced them to each other.” He chuckles.

“Why didn’t Bella just get her social security number before they left for the night?” I ask.

“Bella said her new employee told her she’d bring it tomorrow. That she didn’t have it with her today.”

My brows draw together as I replay the last several hours.

“Something else on your mind?” He asks and I realize he’s noticed my stillness.

“Kimmie and her kid have been living in that car of hers. So if it wasn’t on her, it would have been in her car. She could have easily gotten it.”

“What are you getting at?” His eyes narrow with thoughts of his own.

“If she uses her social security number, she can be traced. I’m thinking that she may be running from something.”

“Or someone.” We both shake our heads at the same time. “Hmm.” He turns back to his computer and starts typing until surveillance from Bella’s Brew pops up on the monitor. He rewinds until he finds a clear picture of Kimmie and zooms in.

“What are you doing?” I ask.

“We might not have her social security number, but I can run her face through that top secret database that we aren’t supposed to know about and see if I get a hit.”
