Why are they all smelling me like animals?
“Stop, please.” He backs away slowly, giving me a good look at his eyes.
Gold.
Suddenly the family resemblance is so obvious, I’m mad at myself for not seeing it before. I shake my head in disbelief. I can not have this bad of luck. They own this place and are all acting like they want to eat me alive.
Moreover, I think I want to let them.
“Tasha?” Wait, when did I tell him my name?
I didn’t.
I only told Braxton. Which means they’ve been talking about me. That makes three rich men who are in the same place I’m currently robbing who can identify me to the police.
I need to leave, now.
I push past him and run at full speed to my hiding spot. As soon as I have my bag, I make for the closest exit, only to collide with a hard, solid chest.
“Hello, little bird.”

THEHUNT
“I’m sorry.” She runs down the path and away from me yet again.
“Not this time.” I loosen my tie as the back door swings open.
“Where?” Adrain growls as I point down the path.
“So why are we here?” He rips his shirt off and throws it on the ground.
“Give her a head start. Besides, Braxton is down there,” Adrain groans and runs past me.
“WHAT?” I call as I chase after him.
“You’re letting our manwhore of a little brother get her first?” I stumble at the thought of finding them together.
“FUCK,” I growl as I pick up my pace, passing him.
Adrain isn’t a slacker, but he doesn’t hit the gym as often as me or Braxton.
“Maybe skip the carbs if you want to keep up.” I laugh in his face as we approach the parking lot.
Some of our employees look at us as we search the parking lot. We follow our noses and find Braxton waiting by the back of the lot, hiding in the trees.
“That way.” He points the way, as we all start to strip.
“Whoever catches her first takes her to my cabin.” My brothers nod as the shift takes them over.
We won’t be able to verbally communicate in our animal forms, so we had to discuss how we’d handle today last night. We all agreed whoever caught her had first dibs after a very long, frustrating game of rock paper scissors.
Adrain ends up in the middle as we divide our property into three. Braxton took the East, Adrain North, and I got left with the West. I stick to the edge nearest to the resort. If she’s looking to catch a ride, this is the closest to stealing a car or hitching on the highway.
That thought makes me roar in anger.
