I feel it — see it in her face. Her body clenches me tightly, pulling me in with incredible force.
She sends me right over the edge with her, roaring out her name.
Falling forward, I work to catch my breath.
“I think I blacked out for a second there,” she says breathlessly.
I try to raise my head or use words to respond but it’s impossible. This position right here, still inside her as her legs are spread wide, ankles locked around my lower back, is how I’ll die.
The soft touch of her fingertips along my back causes a shiver to wrack my body and her lips curve in a smile against my shoulder.
“That was sexy.”
“What?”
“How you shivered because of me touching you.”
I know exactly what she means. Knowing what my touch does to her, it’s everything.
Lifting up, I gaze down at her. Skin flushed, hair a disaster, a few red marks on her chest from where I got a little overzealous in my sucking. Around her legs where I can still see the fingerprints from where I was gripping her thighs.
I’m still inside her, was already softening. But seeing her marked by me has me growing hard again.
Her eyes widen comically. “I know,” I admit. “I’m a little surprised, too.” I know my chest puffs up, pride swelling.
“I need to clean up first, you super freak.”
“Hey, this super freak is like a randy teenager because of you.”
This time she’s the proud one.
“If I were a jerk I’d say I told you so.”
“About what?” I help her off the table, smirking when she wiggles around because I’m sliding out of her and making a mess on her thigh.
“Makeup sex is super hot.”
Chapter Twenty
Rex
“Excited?”
“Yes.”
“You’re not nervous?”
“About meeting your friends? No. I know they’re like your family, but I’m not nervous.”
“Good.” I squeeze her hand as we walk to the back door of The Flying Goat. I’ve been looking forward to the Halloween party since Ethan and Olivia suggested it, but knowing that Chloe will be there with me has made me anticipate it even more.
We decorated and got everything ready for the party this morning so we could have time to get into costumes. That was something I had forgotten to tell Chloe about when I first asked her to do the face painting for the party, but when I brought it up, she was all about it. Neither of us went crazy, though I know Ethan got roped into something pretty epic, wearing a fairy godmother costume for one of our friend’s daughter. Chloe is dressed in all black with a cat ears head band on as well as a long tail clipped to the back of her shirt and I just threw on a cowboy hat and some boots I found at a second-hand store. Because wearing used shoes totally grosses me out, I sprayed enough Lysol inside that I pretty much smell like a hospital and I’m wearing two pairs of socks. Chloe laughed so hard she was clutching her stomach. Little brat.
Olivia went all out with the decorations, hanging spider webs and ghosts from the ceiling, skeletons and mummies sit in chairs casually, as if they’re patrons of the bar hanging out, having a drink. The stage is set up for the kids to paint pumpkins and bob for apples, face painting on the back patio, which is the only thing that sucks about tonight. While I’m inside the bar, Chloe will be out back for most of the evening.
“Ethan! Rex is here!” My friend Austin’s son, Conner, spots us and shouts from the back entrance. We shut down the bar until the party was scheduled to start so that we wouldn’t be setting up when people were arriving so it’s pretty empty inside aside from the few of us that are here to work.
“Hey, little man.”
