“Oh, I know you are,” he quipped, pulling me closer to him.

We continued on with our flirtatious banter, him asking me what I had and hadn’t done sexually and expressing, in detail, what he wanted to do with me. All that talk got us both worked up again, and we went at it again and again, Michael opening up a whole new world for me…

We fell asleep at some point, and I woke up in the middle of the night to Michael cuddling close to me. I smiled –I wonder if he knows that he likes to cuddle in his sleep. I wonder if he’s ever been in a long-term relationship. He doesn’t seem like the type. I shouldn’t think that – I really hardly know this man. I wonder so many things about this mysterious, beautiful man. I fell back asleep, questions floating around my head, feeling grateful that I had that moment with him.

“Who’s Jack?” Michael emerged into the room and looked up from the cell phone he had in his hand –mycell phone.

I had woken up just a few minutes prior to Michael carefully getting out bed, probably trying not to wake me, but I was a light sleeper. Wait – was he snooping?

“What are you doing looking at my phone?” I asked with irritation.

He’s not even my boyfriend, not evenCLOSEto being my boyfriend, and he’s already snooping around on me?

“It was buzzing loudly on the table so I looked at it. I’m a curious individual, Hana,” he said matter-of-factly, not even seeming apologetic at all.

I sighed in disbelief as I got up and stood in front of him, holding my hand out and waiting for him to give my phone back to me.

“You didn’t answer the question,” he replied with annoyance.

“I don’t have to answer the question, Michael. It’s none of your business,” I retorted, my hand on my hip, feeling oddly brave.

He raised his eyebrow at me, all of a sudden very amused.

“Feisty this morning, are we?” he asked playfully, handing me my phone.

I suddenly went from angry to smitten in a millisecond. He must get away with a lot with that face of his.

“I just don’t like feeling like my privacy is being invaded,” I said, my voice softer now as I sat on the edge of his bed.

He seemed to completely ignore my statement as he looked out the window, his hands on his hips now. I was distracted by his shirtless body.

He looked down at me with sad, vulnerable eyes. “Are you seeing this Jack?” he questioned.

I furrowed my brows. I still couldn’t understand how other men who were interested in me could manage to make him jealous – like they really had a chance with him in the picture.

“No,” I shrugged. “Would you really care if I were?” I raised an eyebrow curiously.

He looked at me with furrowed brows.

“I would care. I would be very jealous,” he admitted, coming to sit down next to me closely.

I bit my lip to refrain from smiling.

“You won’t let me see anyone else anyway,” I said playfully with a shrug.

He eyed me for a moment. “You have your own free will, Hana. What I tell you to do is just what I want you to do. You always have the option to refuse,” he said, his eyes serious.

I raised my eyebrows at him. “I absolutely do not have the option. It’s physically impossible for me to say no to you,” I quipped.

“I’m serious, Hana,” he quickly interjected. “I don’t want you to do anything you don’t want to do,” he asserted.

I nodded. “Okay.”

A thought suddenly crossed my mind.Ugh, I don’t want to ask it but I really want to know.
