I’m taken back as I stare at her, for two reasons; one, does she think I want to fuck any other woman? And two, is she jealous when she’s the one that has a boyfriend?

“I can assure you, I do not want any groupie unless you’re offering?”

Her cheeks blush beautifully before she rolls her eyes at me. “Let me guess, you’re being romantic again?”

I run my tongue along my bottom lip before responding, “If you’d give me the chance, I’d give you romance, baby. I’d fucking romance you until your goddamn head spins.”

Lowering her gaze to her feet, she shakes her head as she pulls down her shirt, like she’s uncomfortable with my words. When she looks back up at me, a beautiful blush rushes to her cheeks.

“Jagger Wild, you are too much. Thank you for the offer, but I have a boyfriend.”

Again she rolls her beautiful hazel eyes at me, and it causes me to need to shift in my seat and attempt to readjust my hard dick.

“Every time you roll your eyes at me, I imagine spanking your sexy ass, filthy girl.”

She covers her face with her small hands. Should I stop? I don’t know, but I’m not going to. It’s not just for the thrill of the chase, but it’s also there. Until she’s mine, I have no intention of settling down. I want her in a way I’ve never wanted anything before. I lick my lips while thinking about how good she’s going to taste. Her hands drop from her face as her mouth forms the perfect ‘O’, which does not make my cock any less hard. Stroking my fingers down her cheek, I admit, “If you look this beautiful when you come for me, you’re going to ruin me.”

Glancing down, she speaks low, “You’re trouble. Nothing but trouble.”

“Nothing but trouble,” I repeat her words with a chuckle.

When I notice Erik looking back at us, I wrap my arm around her shoulders and pull her in close to me. Partially to piss him off, but mostly because I want to feel her in my arms. Leaning down, I kiss her on the top of her head. “Beautiful McKinley, you’re going to be mine. And when you are, I swear to you, I’ll never do the things he has done. I won’t ever hurt you.”

She presses her face into the side of my neck, and her breath dances over my skin. “Don’t make promises you won’t keep, Jagger. Maybe you wouldn’t hit me, but there’s more than one way to destroy a person.”

“I won’t abuse you verbally either.”

McKinley laughs uncomfortably. “No, instead you’ll fuck a ton of women behind my back.”

“That’s Erik’s game, not mine. Have I fucked a ton of women? Yes, but I also didn’t have a girlfriend.”

She pops her head up and stares at me with a pained expression. “He’s cheating on me?”

Shit. I assumed she knew. The last thing I want to do is cause her more pain. My plan involves getting her away from that prick, but hurting her in the process is not part of it. The fact that she even cares if he’s fucking other women pisses me off, because he doesn’t deserve for her to care. What is it with women that are with men that treat them like shit? I would treat her like she fucking matters. What the hell does this douchebag have that makes her have any goddamn loyalty to him?

“I wouldn’t know,” I lie through my teeth, just so I don’t have to look at the pain behind her eyes.

Her expression changes to a glare in an instant. “Don’t lie to me, Jagger Wild.”

I sigh audibly, and really wish I hadn’t said what I did. She stares at me like a kid would, if you told him Santa Claus isn’t real. Hurt and disbelief, like the one thing she believed to be true in their relationship is gone.

“We have only done a few gigs with them, including last night, but yes, he fucks other women. I assumed you knew. I’m sorry.”

She drops her head, and looks so fucking defeated, it guts me.

“I didn’t know. I shouldn’t be surprised, but I am.”

Sliding my hand into her hair, she lifts her head and stares into my eyes, as I tell her the truth.

“You deserve better, McKinley. You’re beautiful inside and out.”

In a whisper, she says, “You just want to fuck me.”

I slide my tongue over her closed lips and admit the truth.
