Afterdark was the TOS certified way to talk about her SLCK’d streams. As much as I loved watching Tara play games and to get to talk to her, they were the real draw. Offering a rare insight into a more private side of herself.

The needy, compliant side that I wished I could be enough for.

Her slight flush had my cock threatening to harden, Tara’s full lips pressing into a smile. “Sounds like a deal. I’m playing ahhhhh-mazing, so you better be ready to pay up, baby.”

The chat went crazy as the round ended and a round of new players were able to get into the lobby, making Tara laugh at the antics. “Don’t worry, chat,” she said. “You’ll have one morechance to get in the lobby after this. And maybe after this bet, I’ll drop some gifted subs as a thank you.”

I wanted to tell her I would gift the subs as well. The money was for her, but I’d let her have her fun for now.

It was one of the things I liked the most about Tara, she was genuinely just… a nice person.

The round timer counted down as she sifted through the hero menu, selecting Nova—a damage heavy cat-girl character with a sword—like she always did.

As soon as the match began she was off, racing into the fray to try and rack up the kill count that would earn her a big payday. She was still playing very well, but it was obvious that nerves were getting to her a bit as her plays became more reckless. The first five kills were easy, and the next few were decent as well, if not a bit sloppy, but there was one player on the other team that had to be well into the mastery tree—professional level, because she waselusive.

Evading all of Tara’s tactics as if she was a total newbie. Not to mention she was their healer and doing a damn good job of making Tara struggle to solidify kills.

Glitched_Attraction69: getting awful close, sweet omega.

Though her team was winning, she was at least six kills short, and the round was going to end soon.

God, I loved winning.

“Don’t worry about me,” Tara said easily, even as her attacks got sloppier.

She managed to pop off three more quick kills, and it was really starting to look like she’d make a full recovery and sweep me. But with two minutes left and that healer crawled up her ass, keeping the team alive, the pressure was at least doubled. I’d never seen a healer work this quickly, it was stupid impressive.

It took a while, but Tara finally landed another headshot. She used her special right off the first kill to secure another, her dark eyes sparking with excitement at the realization that her goal was well within her grasp.

Glitched_Attraction69:one (1) more. If you don’t choke.

She laughed. “Try not to choke on your tears when you’re cutting me that check.”

Her focus lasered in on the healer who’d been blocking her progress. It was pretty obvious to me somewhere in the middle of the match it’d become personal, and that would be her downfall. If I knew Tara—and I was pretty damn sure that I did—I knew she wouldn’t give up now that she’d made an enemy.

I watched as her team's goal meter filled and she tried for one last headshot, but the player, Mercury, a hero with little devil wings and blonde hair, expertly dodged right at the last second.

The win screen flashed and Tara groaned.

“Fuck!” she swore, throwing her controller down onto her desk with a crash. “Bullshit! I was so sure I had it.”

The stat screen appeared and though she was MVP by miles, it wasn’t enough.

Tara came up just shy of her goal, nineteen mocking her in white, angular font under the words ‘kill count.’

“Who was that healer?” she asked, keeping her tone light. “One of you is crazy good, for real. You should join our squad.”

I could tell she was actually irritated about the situation, but she was a professional, keeping her and her performance up as she clicked through the screens.

Her smile was tight. “Seems like it. You’re insanely good. That last second dodge? Shit, you shocked the hell out of me.”
