"We can go as slow as you wish. I will take care of you. I will guide you through the layers of pain that can give you a release unlike any you've ever experienced." The way she sighed at my words, the way she melted into me like warm butter and honey had me hard and inpatient. Fuck the dinner with my brothers. They would understand.

"It's a date then," she agreed with a smirk of a smile before she moved out of my arms towards the door.

"Where do you think you're going? " I called after her.

"To make dinner, silly," she giggled.

"I think we tell my brothers to fuck off and we spend the rest of the day in the playroom," I suggested.

"No way. I have waited far too long to meet your brothers. Plus," she began, sauntering her way back over to me. "Denial and patience only sweetens the pleasure." She leaned up and kissed the side of my neck just as her nails ran down my chest.

Then she just walked back to the kitchen. Walked. Sauntered. I don't know. Her hips were a siren's call.

"Temptress," I groaned.

"Silly man," she tossed back with a smile over her shoulder.

"Siren," I pushed onwards.

"My Sir," she breathed, turning towards me with eyes closed and I swear I had never been a happier man than I was at that very moment.

"Mmm. wait until tonight, beautiful submissive," I groaned, heading back into my office with a shake of my head. Temptress, indeed.

The afternoon passed quietly with Ruth bustling around the kitchen, refusing my help on several occasions. Instead, I continued to look into the property Malachi was interested in. I had an idea brewing that I would need to talk to him about, but that was not a conversation for tonight. Finally, the evening was here and the first knock at the door sounded, echoing throughout the house.

I walked towards the door, meeting Ruth at the foot of the stairs where she had just finished readying herself for company.

"You look beautiful," I whispered, kissing her forehead and then opening the door.

"Hey there, Gideon, Ollie. Come on in," I greeted, welcoming them into my home. I saw Malachi's headlights pulling into the driveway so I kept the door open, waiting for he and, likely, Zeke, to join.

"Hey there, Leviticus," Gideon addressed awkwardly. My head swiveled over to him with a look.

"Leviticus?" I questioned.

"That is your name, is it not?" he replied. He was acting so uptight, so formal. Oh. Ruth. I realized that none of my brothers, save Ollie, knew what Ruth was like. I held up my finger to him, letting him know I would explain in a moment.

"Welcome, Zeke, Malachi," I greeted, letting each of my brothers into the house. It felt weird, letting them in. I was much more accustomed to them just barging in like they owned the place.

"Please, come this way. Dinner is just about done." With a smile that could bring me to my knees, she turned and walked down the hallway.

"Thatis Ruth?" Ollie stage whispered behind me. I heard Gideon's hand smack Ollie and grinned at my brothers' antics.

"You saw her at the wedding, you idiot," Gideon hissed out.

"She didnotlook likethatat the wedding," Ollie chuckled.

"Easy now," I playfully scolded, but he was right. Ruth didnotlook like this at the wedding. No, she was no simpering, shy child-like bride. She was a woman full of confidence and that little bit of sass that liked to come out and play. She was... she was simply breathtaking.

"Come on in and take a seat. I hope you all brought your appetites," Ruth called from behind the counter, pulling a dish from the oven.

"What is that smell?" Ollie called in awe. He was absolutely the biggest food fanatic of our motley crew. Instead of finding his way to the table, he rounded the corner of the counter and made his way to the stove. "Is that pork tenderloin medallions? With mushroom and onion demi glaze? And.. and mashed potatoes?!"

His voice got higher in pitch with each question.

"Get your butt to the table and stop bothering my wife," I teased, pushing him towards the table and kissing Ruth's cheek. "It really does smell amazing. How can I help?" I offered, but once again, she shooed me out of the room. The table had already been set and she was just bringing the food to the table for serving.

"This looks lovely, Ruth," Gideon commented, and all gathered nodded in agreement.
