Kirill shook his head.“But when did you know her?”

“It was many years ago.We were very young. But her eyes and that beautiful hair.I always remembered that.”Leon just smiled then he turned to face Serenity and asked, “Will she come back here tonight?I would very much like to meet this young lady, if it's possible.”

Serenity shrugged.“She does what she wants when she wants.I don’t know when she’ll be back.”

Sergi looked annoyed by this answer.“She better be back tonight. Those streets aren’t safe until we get them all either by death or arrest them.We cannot have them roaming around causing trouble and that’s what they do best.Cause trouble. They are looking to topple governments and they won’t stop until we stop them.”

Just then, Viktor called over the monitor system and announced, “We found more fighters and have taken them into custody.I think we are missing this Anton that I just read about in the files Serenity emailed me.”

Sergi breathed a sigh of relief.“Spasibo, Viktor.Tell your men I appreciate their work.At least you caught more of them.”He reached for his phone to make a call to Russia and inform the Council of tonight’s battles.

He stepped away for privacy but the conversation didn’t go as planned. He was given some bad news over the phone and when he returned, he looked thunderous.“The Council told me they still cannot find Anton’s main compound. They did find a couple of smaller camps but Anton wasn’t in either of them. They still don’t have the leader in custody nor a greater part of the whole of the Blue Crusaders.”

Felix, Serenity and Nicky all went back to their computers and began typing. They were all looking for them in their own way.

Then they were interrupted by another arrival.Briar was back and with her was a man that Sergi didn’t know but he looked familiar.

The man nodded respectfully at Sergi.

“Do I know you?”Sergi asked.“You look familiar.”

The man smiled briefly.“You knew me at one time. But a foolish mistake on my part, ended our friendship we once had.”

Sergi looked stunned.“Olaf? Is that really you, after all these years?”

“Da Sergi, it is me.Even after all these years.”Olaf Stanovic nodded.“When I came here all those years ago, I had to leave my name behind. Here I am Owen Stanton.”He looked over at Briar and smiled.“This young lady tells me I have something to tell you, something you need to know about a man named Anton.”

Sergi looked puzzled.“What do you know of Anton Kastonovic? He came after your time didn’t he?”

“Net, he and I were friends growing up long before I even knew you.”Owen shook his head.“But I think the man you are searching for is his son and his namesake. That young man had a pocket full of dreams, most of them were so ridiculous you never would have given them a thought. But he kept them close to his heart and just before I left Russia in exile he shared his biggest dreams with me.He was only about ten years old back then.”

Sergi stiffened and asked, “What kind of dreams did he tell you about?”

“He used to talk about how he wanted to start a town in an old abandoned town he knew of.Out of the way of normal areas.Where he could build something worthwhile.A place so forgotten that it could hold him and his people even if they never set a foot outside it.He wanted it to be where no one else could ever find him.”

Sergi leaned in to ask, “Do you know where this is?We can’t seem to find him anywhere in Russia.”

Owen smiled.“Yes, I know of the place he spoke of.But I’m unsure if he ever went there and created it?”

Sergi stared at him.“Please tell me more about this place. It could save lives and help end this war.”
