Briar paused to glare at them then shrugged as if she didn’t care.She actually dismissed them as unimportant.Turning her head to look at Sergi again, she asked, “And where is Artemy ‘The Houndog’Barasco now?”she asked.
Snickers could be heard in the room.
“Mr.Houndog is in a cell, next to his sweetly insane daughters,” Serenity told her as she openly laughed at the nickname.
Briar rolled her eyes.“Those two are mental.Nothing but looney tunes.”
Now all of them laughed.
Briar smirked a little then shook her head and looked over at Olaf.“I think I can get you off the hook here, Owen.”
He stared back at her and asked, “Oh?”
Nodding, she said, “Owen, if I ask a couple of yes or no questions, then I will be able to tell them where Anton’s place is.You will not have to break a promise.I myself know what a promise means.I think I know where this place is already, but I wanna be sure.”
Owen slowly nodded his head.“Ok, shoot.”
“Is it in New York?The state I mean?”
He nodded.
“Is it like an historical site, yet no one ever goes there?”

“Is it an island?”
He gasped in shock then replied, “Yes!”
Nodding, she looked over at Sergi.“I knew it.I heard rumors about this.It would fit what Owen here explained about it.”
“Very well, young lady.Please tell us where it is,” Sergi urged.
“In the Bronx.”
Everyone there paused to stare at her.
“No, there are no ghost towns or mining...”Nicky looked confused.“Are you saying that they are in Queen’s County?”
Nodding, she smirked.
“Impossible,” Felix argued.
“You all are not thinking outside the box here,” Briar told them.
“Outside...as in outside of New York City proper?”Serenity asked her as her favorite thing was guessing answers to impossible questions.

Sergi scoffed.“Please just tell us.”
“The Brother Islands!”Briar announced as she spread her arms apart.
Sergi and the men all stared blankly at her.
Serenity was typing fast now.Then she paused and read aloud to the group what she found, “Brother Islands, north and south.Located in New York City's East River between the Bronx and Rikers Island.”
