Her hands skimmed around me waist, fingers digging into me skin. The heat of her palms incinerating the blood in me veins. I wanted more. So. Much. More.
Lifting her off the ground, I had every intention of taking her to bed, but I only got as far as the couch in the living room. With her straddling me thighs, I cupped the back of her head with me hand while the fingers of the other brushed over the bumps of her spine.
Rae's mouth moved over mine, her hands pushing into me hair and her hips rolling over mejust right. A sound I hardly recognized vibrated through me chest and I had to inhale deeply through me nose simply because I couldn't stand to tear me mouth away from hers to catch me breath.
Me hands went to her ass to help her move over me. Harder. Faster. But she pushed off me chest and started sliding off me lap. I quickly caught her by the wrist."Where are you going?"
Her lips lifted into a saucy smile as she pressed her index finger against me mouth. Me tongue darted out, slicking over the tip. Rae's breath caught and the sound she made was so unbelievably erotic, I twitched with need.
"Shhh," she purred and then pushed off me lap to stand a few feet in front of me. Eyes glittering, teeth digging into her lip, she toed off her sparkly sandals.
Leaning back, I tucked me laced fingers behind me head and grinned like a bloody fool.
Rae rocked side to side, hands going to the hem of her shirt before she slowly pulled the material up. The more skin she revealed, the more me fingers itched to touch. Me tongue tingled to taste.
Her shirt wasn't even all the way off and me self-control was already slipping. Me fingers flexed behind me head. The need to get up and tear her clothes off so desperate, so strong, it took every ounce of willpower I had to keep me arse parked on that couch.
But sit I did.
Even when she tossed the shirt aside and slowly turned her back to me. I remained sitting when she tortured me by gently slipping her bra strap over her shoulder. I still didn't get up when she wiggled out of her shorts and threw them at me.
It was only when she was facing me again with her fingers tucked in the waistband of her panties that I made a move. "No," I told her as I sat up. "Let me."
Her tongue darted out, making her lips wet and shiny. Padding closer, she came to a standstill between me spread legs. I reached up, fingers tracing her collarbone before brushing over the soft skin between her breasts, slowly making me way down to circle her belly button.
Her breath hitched. So did mine. Goosebumps peppered her skin while a shiver rolled down me spine. Spreading me fingers wide, I smoothed them around her waist and up her back. Digging me fingers in, I tugged her closer.
I inhaled deeply, pressing a kiss in the center of her chest. "You're so beautiful," I breathed against her skin. Me fingers curled around the waistband of her panties just as I dropped to me knees in front of her.
Exactly where I needed to be considering I'd happily spend the rest of me days worshiping every inch of her body. The moment the lacy barrier disappeared me mouth was on her.
Rae's fingers speared through me hair, the tips digging into the back of me head, desperate to keep me where I was. Not that I was going anywhere until she was thoroughly satisfied.
Me fingers dug into her skin as I doubled me efforts. Her thighs shook and a second later me name rolled off her tongue. Holding on to her, I gently guided us back to the couch. Me movements were jerky and hurried as I shoved me sweats down me legs.
That first second when I finally,finally, got to lose myself in the warmth of her body again, I couldn't move.
This moment, this thing between us, felt big. Impossibly big. Like the pieces that made up me life was shifting and realigning only to never be the same again. And I had absolutely no hope of understanding any of it.
"Griff—" Rae started but I cut her off when I pushed me hips up. Hard. "Mhmm."
We moved together like we'd been doing this dance for years. Like her body was made for me and mine for her.
When I felt her climb close to the edge, I brushed me fingertips over her cheek and whispered, "Look at me, Rae." Her lids parted slowly, revealing those incredible deep blue irises that snatched the air right out of me lungs.
When her world finally exploded, I was right there with her. Hooking me hand around her neck, I pulled her face to mine. Fusing our mouths together in a kiss that I felt all the way to the bottom of me soul.
This should be scary.
Should freak me the hell out.
Instead, a strange feeling of calm washed over me. I couldn't explain it. Didn't want to. But when Rae slumped against me, and me arms wrapped around her, I just knew that this woman was at the center of it all.
